A bargain of a caravan is the "Hobby PRESTIGE 495 UL"... its 25k new Sleeps two adults two kids and its super practical to move around with, Winding alpine roads or highway to the seaside not an issue..Also you dont need such a powerful car to pull it, Amazing stuff. If its your first time entering this market and unsure how you will like it check it out.... The others in the video are just way to long unless you live beside the motorway and you just go directly to the seaside in Europe..
#1. The "Adria Alpina" is sharp,, as everything usually is with Adria.:) Clean lines. Very modern, comfortable, & well constructed!! 2.The "Hobby" Ugh,, Bed & shower are a nightmare. So much wasted space. 3. "Dethleffs Exclusive" Dislike the yellow lighting,, very hard on the eyes. Stylish front interior but lost it with a plain hallway leading into unattractive sleeping quarters. 4. "Tabbert Cellini" Spacious & lovely front lounge. The dark wood does not enhance or compliment the interior fp. The bathroom mirror is nice. 5. "ERIBA",, Plain Jane. Reminds me of Airstream design.

How do the toilets work - tank, compost, cassette, incinerator? Any solar power on roof? What does the electrical set up look like - battery, inverter, solar charger, alternator...??? Is the fridge compressor or propane based? How many tanks? m Look under the floor at wheel level. What is the cargo carrying capacity of each one?
Agree, these are top on price. Nothing else. Not practical to tow, fuel efficiency, manoeuvre in tight roads, camp site fees that charge extra for long caravans, heavy, need bigger vehicle to tow, etc. More problems in real life. Only looks good on a video with some funky music in background.
All superb.... and sadly, although a common sight on traveller sites.... mostly illegal to tow in the UK with anything under 3500kg GVW due to 7m rule 🙁
DAVID SEDLICKAS I’d like to think David that the electric automotive industry would have evolved in the next 15 years to be able to tow caravans, although I do think Caravan weights will evolve too, the Caravan and Motorhome industry is worth £6bn per annum to the UK market and as the staycation is becoming more popular this will only increase, I think you’ll see caravans on the roads for decades to come. UK government has too much to loose to see these babies off the roads 😀
David, I don't think the world is just going to give up on caravans, horse boxes, heavy trailers, boat trailers, car trailers, etc. Electric motors already have plenty of power and torque enough to tow these items. Batteries are the problem and I'm sure there will be enormous strides forward in this area over the next couple of decades (or switch to hydrogen fuel cells for larger vehicles).
Big money is being invested in blue fuel right now. (hydrogen) Hydrogen powered trucks have been tested and have plenty of power. The engines are fundamentally the same in structure as conventional engines. Clean water is the only emission. This is what the Apollo crews were using all those years ago and they used the byproduct, water, for drinking because they couldn't take much water with them, the payload would have been too heavy.
The first caravan was absolutely amazing , this is the style that I believe the American market should apply to their old styles of interiors .
The last one feels (and it is) incredibly cramped - 100k for what, exactly?

Weight won't be a problem David. Electric motors have huge power, no gearbox/drivechain to cause power loss. Direct drive to wheels.
