Thanks Hisham Bhai. I am struggling to open a USD account for the last 5 days. It is just like visiting a police station. Bankers are handcuffed due to regulations and regulators (both). It is such a discouraging experience as if a criminal is being interrogated. So, in the presence of this facility people will bring USD to Pakistani banks only for local consumption and the rest will be parked in the USA.
Can you explain why? The Process of opening Freelancer USD account in Pakistan is super duper simple and all online. I have an USD account since Nov 2023, and will happily help you out with opening one. I have my account in Bank of Punjab.
@@HishamNajamHave you tried remittance in USD from abroad? Only wire transfers are allowed, not online. Again, remittance from companies need prior approval from the banks to get the fund into these accounts. These rules shall be applicable to big amounts
@@Shahidma58 Yes, I have remitted USD from Upwork via Wire transfer, and it gets deposited in my USD account in Pakistan in US Dollars.
If you are getting remittance from a company which is not well known like Upwork, Payoneer etc, then you simply need to show the invoice and your remittance will be easily deposited.

Same experience with Elevate. Took 2 months to review documents, 5 baar payment proof liya, phir 2 bar address ka proof liya phir bhi without any reason request reject kr di ab reason bhi nahi bta rahy

I dont have a upwork or any freelance jobboard account. But I do have LLC and EIN, every research tells me to travel to USA and have an account open by physically visiting the Bank. Although I have valid b1b2, it is not feasible for me to travel to US just to open a bank account. Do you recommend any solution.
