Yeah, actually replacing bushings and ball-joints instead of the entire control arm trades cost for time. It's much quicker to just replace the arms, but can be 3X more expensive or more.
Mi s-a parut enorm, sincer.
Thanks for watching! I've seen sets of 4 pry bars like the one I have being sold under many different brands, like BGS, US Pro etc. but size-wise they are all the same 😀 The one in the video is the largest from the set of 4, with approx. 60 cm total length and about 45 cm blade length.
Have to do this job soon. I'm really concerned the front horizontal control arm bolt will be seized to the nut that's inside the cradle. You cannot access the nut without cutting a hole in the cradle I believe. Really hope this doesn't happen. There is a small hole I might be able to get a torch tip inside to heat the nut. Fingers crossed.
Yes, fingers crossed! In my case, the right one required more effort to remove than the left one but ultimately both came out normally. Usually if the bolt is stuck, it's not stuck on the nut threads but on the inside of the bushing, so the risk of damaging the sub-frame is small. II suggest using plenty of penetrating oil for a few hours before attempting to remove the bolt.
Hello brother do you have any idea about the valve body number of a 2014 kia sportage SL 2.0 CRDi 4WD Diesel . I am having a hard time finding it tho i put it out and search it from every corner .
@@MoMo-tq8uc I just checked my parts catalogue and I sadly I found no reference to the valve body's OE number. What I normally do in such situations is to go to a Kia dealer and ask them for the part number and a quote.
@@TheMissingBolt Thanks brother. In my country there is no dealer . The Valve body harness black plastic is a bit cracked too where the part numb is written and it seems like 46307-3B050 . But my question is can it work with any valve body because in the internet i see 46210-3B011 is the the valve body part nb for 2014-2017 kia sportage in the other hand i also seen 46210-3B200 reffering to 2014-2017 kia sportage . There is plenty of different number after the B . I am lost .
@@MoMo-tq8uc The only way to be sure is to check against a parts catalogue that searches based on your VIN number. If there's no Kia dealer in your country, then perhaps you could write an e-mail to a dealer from a different country that sold a Sportage similar to yours (Germany or UK, maybe). Provide them with your VIN number and ask for the OE part numbers and prices for the parts you need.

As always, a very good video, with very good explanations and theory. Many thanks! Looking forward to the next ones!😊
Thank you very much! There are more on the way 😁
Thank you very much!
Wow...love the attention to detail but I don't think I have the energy nor the patience to do that☺

Congrats for a job well done and for all the explanations!
Thanks! 😀 It took me about 2 days to do all the work and film everything as well.

Am scris eu in graba 700 lei, era 300 lei, scuze.
Great video and incredibly detailed as ever 🙂interested to know what length the pry bar is you use, looks like a US Pro?
