WandaVision rockets into the 1970s this week, and we're here with all of the Marvel Easter Eggs and References. The episode's set and style pay homage to the Brady Bunch. Appropriate, since this is the episode where Wanda and Vision expand their family. But something dangerous is lurking beneath this happy suburban fantasy. What are Agnes and Herb so afraid of? Where did Geraldine come from? Is Wanda actually evil now?

this show is so densely packed. i have nothing but respect for this level of scriptwriting.
Agreed, and these easter egg videos are mandatory viewing afterward! I haven't been this engrossed in the post-episode discussions since "Lost."
@@jhowser444 Though, unlike 'Lost', this show might actually follow through to some kind of...well, anything but whatever that mess was.
True that man...it's incredible the amount of detail
Same! The comic book fans are certainly having a blast as there are a lot of comic book references.
Marvel is very good at packing things into movies and now TV shows. They have an endgame in mind (no puns here) and keep to it.
Just think this is all going to come together with the movies and other TV shows.

Damm, more and more details keep coming I- in only 3 episodes
Wait-.........hold up your right........
Which twin has the birthmark??
I saw an image of Wanda with very slight colors on her face that remind me of Vision’s face. Are Wanda and Vision going to be melded together at the end of Wanda Vision????
Did you notice - Geraldine tells Wanda she’s such a strong lady, then when Wanda asks her to repeat what she said about Ultron, Geraldine skips back to that same line?
She definitely knows what’s going on and tried to “rewind”.
i love... she knew wanda’s ability and tried to convince her that it was wanda’s rewinding, and that it was another detail for wanda to forget.

mandolorian better though
When she started talking about pietro she changed from her 70s accent to her old sokovian accent
Pretty sure she just said his name in her sokovian accent, that's a common thing foreigners do, they names in the accent of their own language.
She just said his name in the accent, she did however change her voice from happy and American to the one we know from the other movies she’s been in. The same happened in episode one, she started talking as herself during the chocking instead of the role she was playing
No she didn't she said his name in accented English like it would be said in her tongue, just like any ethnic would pronounce a given name or a surname.
She actually was tuning a Slovakian song, she was humming in the castle from Age of Ultron.
@@kendrickyay exactly! When she said who are you she did slip
“... because we’re all STUCK...” like when the doctor said “... it’s a small town. Kinda hard to ESCAPE!”
“trapped” would also work!!
I feel bad for Wanda, she's lost everything she's ever loved... her parents, her brother, vision. Mutant or not the mind can only take so much before it breaks, I think this is her break. That's why she became so volatile when Monica mentions the real world, she's not ready yet, she's still healing. She needs time...
Its the same with people who have really bad mental health problems, what doctors call a psychotic break is the brain creating a narrative different from the one they know. And until the person is sufficiently healed they can't bring themselves out of the break, becoming aggressive to friends and family who try to remind them of the real world. That what I think this is. Wanda has broken down and she's trying to heal in this narrative but because of her powers she's taken a whole town with her
"We're all.......
Vision: "we're all what?"
"We're all fans of Elizabeth Olsen"
yes.
_She thinks we're all little-_
@@SuperCaliListic what anime is it from
Oh god what if they break it further and Elizabeth Olson (Wanda) and Paul Bennet (Vision) are mentioned-
It should have been we are all massive fans of Mary Kate and Ashley 😂😂 I wonder if there will be a 90s sitcom version and if they reference full house? 🤔
Huh, just realized the toaster and the bread is like a bun in the oven. Except a toaster is a spead up version of that AND there were 2 pieces of bread meaning two babies born in a much quicker time frame than normal
Niiiiceeee
holy shit
Haha. Good Point. it's as also mentioned that the toaster looks a little like vision. It seems to have eyes (the two dials) a mouth (the slot) and, yes, a gemstone in its "forehead."
Is anyone gonna talk about how they said Geraldine doesn't have a home, yet she told Wanda that the pipes in her ceiling burst?🤔🤔
I suppose when Geraldine entered pocket reality she was integrated into it to some degree but not completely, so she is used as all other supporting characters of the "show" as a plot device with no real background . maybe, just guessing here
My theory is that they are all dead and what she meant by home is a grave stone.
She must be an agent of AIM and is trying to get Wanda out of her fake reality world , hence she lies about the pipes to get closer to her but eventually Wanda kicks her out ..
@@Unknown-bs1kz actually it's SWORD that Geraldine belongs to. It's their logo on the toy helicopter, the "beekeeper's" outfit, and on her necklace. AIM are usually bad guys, or working for the bad guy. I think SWORD is trying to help her and the town.
Also, when Vision asked where's Geraldine, Wanda said she had to rush home, but Vision now knows Geraldine has no home...
Wanda’s accent also slips whenever she gets closer to reality.
She doesn't have an accent anymore. People just tend to call others with foreign names by the more local pronunciation if they were also from that place, or are just conscientious. Her English was the same except for the name, and of course when she was singing in Sokovian she had the "correct" pronunciation
@@davidjsanders76 No, if you listen at the section after she sings in Sokovian her accent returns to her Infinity War accent right before she kicks "Geraldine" out, after that it goes back to American.
I forgot she even had an accent for a sec
@@davidjsanders76, she has a regional accent. It's a Northern accent almost like New Jersey, but not quite. It isn't a mid-west, It is definitely different than what she was using in Infinity War.
@@heidiwills4259 agreed I'm sure Olsen is changing up her voice for each time period. They had dialect coaches for the eras. I just didn't hear anything "foreign" except the name Pietro and of course her singing of the Sokovian lullaby. I'll have to watch it again. There is the theory that she will revert to her regular voice after the series, or a more interesting thought I had that she still has the accent but she's warping reality all the time to make us hear American....
Herb is LITERALLY trying to break down the walls of Wanda’s “reality”.
Oh, that's clever. I agree & good catch! 💯

Wanda's Sokovian accent comes back when she tells Geraldine to leave. Like she's dropping the charade and getting to business
I was looking for this comment.
@@losanillosysaturno same
Perhaps that's a schizophrenic episode? Maybe Wanda has split personality? One is her dark alter ego?
As I think about it more, could that have been Geraldine’s goal? To pull Wanda back towards her real (sokovian) self?
@@PinoyEnglishTeacher That's reaching. We are already shown how Wanda is like if she feels some threat, like with the beekeeper. She felt an intruder vibe on Monica, that Monica doesn't belong to the reality so Wanda kicked her out. Wanda is not schizophrenic. She literally has reality warping ability that is shown through her mental breakdowns in the comics. No offense to science, but it is literally not applicable to her abilities. She doesn't need illusions, she can warp reality.
I’m just glad they stopped acting like Quicksilver doesn’t exist. She straight up forgot about him after AoU

It was mentioned that the toaster seems to have a face and a "gemstone" in its forehead--and it was created by Stark Industries...the Vision?
Stark toaster sounds more like Tony’s repulsors than the a Stark shell.
It look like Vision himself , don't you think ?
it’s the same sound affect as his repulsers
Also very similar to the sound made when Thor charged up Vision's sarcophagus in Age of Ultron which activated him.
@@bolobalaman Another UA-camr made the connection that the toasters both symbolized Vision, since he’s been referred to as a toaster in the comics. So the old toaster is now this shiny and new Vision. “Forget the past”, the toasted Vision, “this is your future” shiny Vision.

True first the choking then the radio/helicopter/bee keeper and the creepy conversation between vision and agnus
I love how there’s no dialogue which makes it perfect for the show
Yea we’re getting closer to know what’s really happening
When Shakespeare got quoted, I immediately thought of "The Tempest" a play about a magician (Prospero) who manipulates (with illusions and the help of fairy servants) people who arrive on his island. Creating a storm he brings these people to the Island and then uses illusions to make them go where he wants and do what he wants. Wanda is very much the Prospero of Westview "island."
google Screenplay of the living dead man. What if WEstview is where Manthing and nexus of reality is in earth 616 and Jennifer Kale. Jennifer Kale related to OG Ghostrider whose wife was burn at stake for being accused a witch
I’m intrigued by “Herb:” he’s standing outside a wall, between two plants with leaves (herbs), and attempting to cut the wall and causing sparks as if cutting through an electronic barrier. An herb, by definition, is used for flavoring. What will he add to WandaVision’s reality once that barrier is down?
The multi'colored dress Wanda is wearing is also reminiscent of a butterfly.
When Wanda tells Vision that Geraldine went home he must know she’s lying because he was just told she doesn’t have a home. Which furthers Vision’s skepticism.
Oooh good catch.
At first I thought Wanda killed Geraldine until it was shown she was sent back to the real relm
Not necessarily since he was just told that she basically couldn’t be trusted so he could be thinking that she simply lied to Wanda about going to her home.
i think that line shows her knowledge of creating this whole reality, considering geraldine was sent in. Wanda sent her back to the real world, her home.
Another thing the commercial could be: The infinity stones. The first one could represent the reality stone(it features red like the ether), the second one the time zone(It features a watch and hydra stuff is often green like the time stone), and this newest one the space stone(the product had a blue color pallet and was shaped like a cube)
Damn, you got a point!
nahh i dont think so the second and third dont make sense all point to time
@@jonasferrao maybe the third could be about reality!

It's interesting Geraldine visits Wanda after her pipes burst but afterwards, we hear Agnes and Herb saying how Geraldine doesn't have a home...
It's before the sitcom logic begins to break down.
@@thundercat2000ca Or, possibly, she was straight up lying. I'm wondering if she was spying on events and looking for an excuse to get in.
@@bretsheeley4034 I think Thunder might be partly right. Like the host said, everyone is forced to act like a sitcom character. Geraldine wasn't "lying" per say, but following her "role" she was assigned. When Wanda got distracted, the truth started to come out.
@@zachgamemaster3329 Yeah but notice that it's Agnes who says that Geraldine has no home, like she is outside of the sitcom logic.
@@zachgamemaster3329 Rewatching, I think you're right... maybe. I think at this point only Agnes and Herb are "in the know" (probably one to monitor Wanda and the other Vision) while the rest of the town is trapped and forced to act in their roles (like how Mrs. Hart was begging for help in Ep. 1 but forced to stay in character).
That said, I still can't tell how much Geraldine is in control and playing the role versus being pulled in mentally. I thought at first she was just faking it (it did seem to me in Ep 2 she had to pause to come up with an alias when Wanda asked her name). But I started to wonder if she was wearing the S.W.O.R.D. necklace as a way to reminder herself of who she was while she was in there in-case the brainwashing caused her to go too deep and lose herself.
My thought was that if she was pulled-in the world would had given her a home to accommodate the new continuity; but instead I think everybody in Westview just has whatever home they had before whatever-this-is got started. However, with Geraldine having snuck in, she wouldn't have had a property, so I'm not sure how much things are warped by her presence.
Too many variables and unknowns at this point.
(Damn, I'm loving this show.)
Still, I do wonder if there really is a Ralph.
" Because we're all...dead" The people in the town all know they are dead. Geraldine doesn't have a home because she doesn't have a grave. It's a ghost town. Wanda is connected to all the stones, this is the soul stone connection. Vision doesn't realize this because he wasn't really alive. He is brought back through his Mind stone connection to Wanda.
Oh snap! That's definitely possible
but I think there's gonna be an ep where the people in her reality forced wand to let them go

That's so sad...but it works...and another link to Mephisto connection.
@@krcmaine I really don't think Mephisto has anything to do with it.
Remember in end game or infinity war tony said “when u mess with time it tends to mess back” I think Wanda messed with time with her reality warping powers and now it’s messing back when it skips and when herb cut the fence

Her Sokovian accent also came back for a short moment when she remembered her brother and started talking about him. But the moment she started to remember his death she struggles to stay in her perfect bubble and once "Geraldine" is sent away and Vision reenters the house she goes back to speaking with a perfect American accent..
She sang a sokovian song, and said his name in the way she would if speaking sokovian. You speak in an accent when speaking a specific language. Her accent was explained to be fading away as a result of spending time in America
@@hawk_ish2265 they actually say in an intervju that her accent in the show is gone because she's in an American show. But whennyou watch Endgame she still has an accent when she talks to Thanos. It's not as strong as her original accent in Ultram, but it's there.
@@ryangreen2006 when she starts questioning who Geraldine is she does speak with an accent, if ever so slightly, to show that she is slipping away from the ideal American dream she's living throughout the pocket dimension.
@@ryangreen2006 , it has been fading, definitely, but it never "dropped" until this show. And, as Jessika said, Elizabeth Olsen actually said in an interview that the only reason her accent is totally gone in the first few episodes of this show is because Wanda is in an "American" show. It goes along with her trying to fit in to the ideal life she has created.
i think that wanda was trapped and forced to make this reality and as she got more in to the reality she stopped fighting it and now is controlling it after the sword agents realize she was controlling the reality they started sending in sword agents wanda now expels any body that threatens the reality
That advert line, listen to how he pronounces "when you want to get away" - it's said like "when you Wanda get away"
I feel like the commercials are simply subconscious memories seeping in, things that are constantly in her mind that she's trying to forget or suppress. Since she has to have commercial breaks they're things she can't fully control. Herb was likely going to say they're all trapped, Since Monica had to infiltrate the town, probably like the "Bee keeper." I also feel like Agnes is trying to keep people in line if they start losing their grip on the fake reality's story, probably telling them Wanda may do something to them if they don't.
THATS EXACTLY whats goin on

Well, of course. The boys were first made from two shards of Mephisto’s soul.
What if she promised to have Mephisto’s kids in exchange for having vision back 🤔
Have you noticed that when Vision is outside by himself talking to them two, the backdrop of the town is very clearly drawn. Kinda like in video games where the rendering only happens around the vision of the main character and everything outside of that or far in the distance is a low polygon version.

There is no nothing in the MCU!! Everything is something lmao good catch.
I noticed that too. And her hand positioned so close to his? Like making our eyes gravitate towards his watch. Her pose didn't look natural
Good catch makes me wonder if this pocket reality Wanda is in has bent the reality to the point that time does not technically exist there. Reality and pereception of time makes what a reality truly "is". A false reality may actually seem "true" if it becomes so undectable from the true reality.
Looks like an LED watch. Those were off by default and you had to press a button to light them up. Otherwise you would run out of battery rather quickly.

I still think the butterflies fluttering to life is Billy's doing. His powers are like his mother's where he can warp reality to his will but only more powerful because he ends up becoming a god like entity called the Demiurge.
oohh that's interesting
I think so too!!!
I really hope the twins will be real in their real world, Vision too. Even though it seems impossible.
"Now where have I seen three witches before?"
Me, a theatre kid: mAcbETh?
First thing I said too. The Asgardian Witches is a bit of a stretch comparatively, but if we're in universe, I *guess* it could be a reference.
The three sisters trope is fairly common. The witches in the Scottish Play, The Norns from Norse Mythology, The Fates from Greek Mythology. Plays on those like the Weird Sisters from Gargoyles (a Disney property), the Norns of Ah! Megami-sama, or the Fae Queens (times 2) from Dresden FIles.
I think the Norns are the best guess here due to Norse Mythos being a known element.
First thing I thought was Charmed.
Gargoyles was my first thought.
That was option 2 after the Sanderson sisters. ‘Shakespeare in the park’ then the fates from Disney’s Hercules?😅
The ads-
New toaster- vision being replaced with a “working one”
“Watch”- wanda turns back time
“Soap”- “create a new world” it starts mentioning how wanda seems to have fully created and not just manipulated the town after all its mentions monica doesn’t have a house
“Soap” could also be refrence to 4th season of aos, when Coulson made its own soap because of mind controling in framework controled by madame hydra.
Another theory is the brand name: the first comercial is for a toaster made by Stark (Howard obviously), the second comercial is for a watch but its made by Strucker a fake stark a copycat stark (look at the names stark and strucker very similar) the thing with this watch product is that it has hydra and a hydra symbol at the bottom very small though. and lastly hydra soaks now hydra isn't hiding there is no sign of stark or strucker or anyone else becuase hydra had Stark (howard) assisinated by bucky and your probs wondering how does wanda/vision tie into this like at all well wanda was experimented on by hydra and vision has jarvis...jarvis is based or howards butler jarvis so my theory is that hydra is takin over its not a main plot point of wanda vision but it may tie in later in another series or maybe this will remind wanda of her sokovian background with hydra.
Ooo i like it. The soap is a fresh start, time is Wanda's refusing to accept the past, & new toaster new vision.
@@sydneybrown9239 Howard Stark was killed right After He made Steve Roger's Captain America... Bucky was an American Soldier at the time and not yet taken by Hydra.

This is true. But if they really wanted to stop Wanda's universe, they probably would have told her. Plus, Wanda doesn't want vision to know. It's obvious by now.
"Sometimes dreams about giraffes are interpreted as a sign of success, promotion, or finally reaching out for the impossible."

why does Agnes mention someone’s “tummy” when she’s whispering to Herb? (u can see what she’s saying if you turn on close captions) was she talking about Wanda? I don’t see any other reason why should would be whispering about a tummy? and if she is talking about wanda how did she know she’s pregnant if wanda never came outside?
right I was wondering the same thing !!
That's it right there! On your last question, it makes me think Agnes transformed as a Stork that was seen inside Wanda's house to see what was going on. Wanda can't make the Stork disappear, probably because Agnes is also a witch (Agatha Harkness), and she can do spells that can deflect Wanda's power. I also don't recall what happened to the stork after the birth scene, then suddenly Agnes is outside the house talking to Herb after Wanda gave birth.
@@airwaters i wish that was true that is an interesting theory XD. but 1. as soon as wanda drops the vase u can see the stork disappears (which makes me think wanda was creating the stork) 2. wanda starts going into labor in front of the stork, so if it was Agnes then she would have not only seen Wanda’s “tummy” but she would also know that she is pregnant 3. when the stork first appears the front door is closed so idk how else it would get in the house unless Wanda made it 4. it’s been a while since the stork disappeared for Agnes to have just started talking to Herb 5. Agnes is also whispering to Herb “did u see her go inside”, which she would obviously know the answer to if she was the stork inside the house and 6. storks are obviously related to babies, and how would Agnes just happen to be a stork when Wanda is also having a baby
@@alyssaf9650 Hmm, 1) Let's not forget Agnes is a witch, it is not an issue for her to enter houses at her own will. She might have access to a magic that can exactly do that.
2) I don't remember the Stork watching Wanda gave birth tho? Hmm, interesting.
3) We don't actually know how long Herb and Agnes are talking outside the house. They looked like they are talking for so long.
4) Idk about storks and the babies, because I don't think so, a lot of theory channels including my faves Sean Gerber and Erik Voss are inclined to believe the stork is some other entity like Mephisto, as it can deflect Wanda's powers. So it can also makes sense if it was Agnes.
5) Are you 100% sure that the stork is watching Wanda giving birth? Because I will try to watch it again and if I don't see it, then I will be really fix in my theory.

I thought I was a fan. I was wrong. I'm just a casual after listening to this guy talk LOL
The scene where Wanda and Vision were posing in their living room is based on Vision and Scarlet Witch limited series 1. I think Wanda’s inability to stop the stork was her inability to stop the birth. Wanda seemed unaware of Pietro’s death. I think the characters return will be in a flashback. Or maybe she reanimated him from her flashback.
About the blue sopa: In Agents of SHIELD when they wre trapped in the Ada's Framework (it is a simmulation kinda like Matrix), Coulson (or his alt version) shared a conspirecy thoery about BLUE soap that HYDRA uses to implant the fake memories into peoples mind.
Glad to know I wasn’t the only one thinking that!
Caught this too. Glad it wasn’t the only one
I had forgotten about that! Good point and call back
I know this too so AoS is canon
The soap is also shown in a cube packaging with blue swirls and looks a lot like the Tesseract/Space Stone.
To Me I felt like it was the babies powers kicking in.
Wiccan powers is reality warping like his mom and that’s why the butterflies and duck came to life.
Speed is the reason her pregnancy went fast and he came first.
I think mephisto is keeping an eye on Wanda with the of help Agnes. Like Lobster in the first episode, Rabbit in second and stroke in the third episode
woah good call!
Oh my FREAKING gosh!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Guys now in the 5th episode there was a dog
“Hydra soak, bring out the Inner Goddess”
Referencing how Hydras experiments on her brought out her “Inner Goddess” aka Mutant Powers.
@@ryangreen2006 Up until now Marvel couldn't call her a mutant, they called her "Enhanced" instead. But I think as mutants get introduced, it will be in a way that explains that Wanda and Pietro did have the X-gene all along, it was just dormant, and it was the experiment with the stone that unlocked the X-gene within them. This is the reason why they were the only ones that survived the experiments with hydra.
@@ryangreen2006 well alright then 😂
The Inner Goddess also refers to Hecate, the source of all witches' powers.
@@stingsports88 In that case Captain Marvel is the first mutant in mcu, since she also had dormant X-gene which was activated by space stone.
in SHIELD tv show they talk about Hydra's soap
Another weird detail I noticed that you didn’t mention: Vision has super speed in this episode. Thats never been a part of his power set in the MCU or the comics (He doesn’t get tired, hes super strong and tough, he can phase and fly, and he has a head lazer) but there is one character who has super speed, Marvels most famous speedster is Wandas brother Quicksilver. There seems like theres some connection there (maybe showing that wanda can give and take away powered?)
I think it's supposed to act as a heavy-handed way of demonstrating that Speed would have gotten his powers from his father. But yeah it's a bit clumsy imo.
Vision does have super speed in the comics. Not at the level of Quicksilver or Speed since he's not a speedster but he does have superhuman speed. That comes with being a super powered android
@scoopsmagoo Maybe we've just never seen Vision use his speed. In the movies, he spends most of his time in the air. He kind of showed how quick his reflexes are during his mini fight with Hawkeye. Also, Wandavision is the first time we even see Vision run lol
The only thing that bothered me was that when he ran to the doctor he simply opened the door instead of phasing trought and he didnt phase at all in all of the episodes.
As I recall was the Mind Stone that allowed him to phase things and now the stone is gone.
@@morningstarTFT No he can still phase, but he got "trained" to use the door in Civil War.

wow that's a great spot. had to slow it down to .25x speed to notice it
Awesome haha 😆
Omg
pssst Rule 1: Don't talk about the fight Club!
Thanks for that. I couldn't get the pause timing right.
This show is a masterpiece when it comes to attention to the details, I really hope the plot lives up to it.
Hydra Soak ad would be the reference for Hydra Soap mentioned by the Framework's version of Coulson in Agents Of Shield Season 4.
It was designed like The Cosmic Cube too.
Westview literally is "A Magical Place".
please explain more
The newspaper also emphasizes “hydra” in “hydrant”...
That’s what I was thinking
The portal to the tv world looks like enlarged pixels, but as it’s been speculated that Wanda has the powers of the infinity stones, could it be built from some of those powers? Reality (red), time (green), and space (blue) are what would need to be manipulated to create this world
The butterfly’s in her stomach line as well as animating the butterfly’s could be a reference to Billy’s powers as well since we know from the comics that both of her kids have superpowers and Billy shared reality control like his mother so it could be a hint that her kids have powers that are manifesting.
theory here: Perhaps they're hinting that between this and Multiverse of Madness they'll be bringing back Quicksilver? There's rumors that Evan Peters could be coming to the MCU to bring Quicksilver back into the fray and also to lay the groundwork for introducing the idea of mutants (since he'd be from an alternate reality.) There's rumors flying around that the next big Avengers crossover movie will be based around the original Secret Wars.
Evan Peters is in the cast of 'WandaVision' according to google so I reckon youre right
The secret wars is going to be on Disney plus .
Kevin feigi said this
He's cast in his Spanish dub confirmed it on twitter
What Aaron Taylor Johnson is not coming back???
@@easypeezy8345 Huh?? The Disney plus show is Secret Invasion, not Secret Wars. Secret Invasion centered around Skrulls.
Just realised that Wanda's maternity dress features a giant red X. She's literally giving birth to the X-Men in the MCU!
Like the X-men reference through out this. With Storm's rain and Gale force power hints with Wanda in the kitchen. Night Crawler's bamf smoke when Wanda was trying to make the Stork disappear from Monica's sight! The Stork's open wings behind Monica sitting on the couch, referencing a human with wings! Dare I say- Angel! And....Jubilee's coat on Wanda when she was inadvertently switching outfits do to her powers going on the fritz during her near pregnancy delivery! 🤗 A very"uncanny" episode of WandaVision, I must say!
And of course quicksilvers superspeed
And in the opening in the beginning the exagons form a big x
@@ryangreen2006Perhaps not immediately. How-ever...events are aligning for Wanda to alter the current marvel film universe with the eventual "multimeter(multiverse- Google text correction😧) of madness" event. And It's likely Wanda will be responsible for crossing over missing marvel properties that were previously unavailable before. Such as the X-men and possibly Fantastic Four. Or FF may be introduced by some other means down the road. But, it is held in speculation by many fans that the Disney Marvel team are using the house of M storyline of Wanda from the comics but with a twist. As in the comics- she wiped away nearly all mutants of their powers. It's believed the reverse is going to be applied as there are not any mutants in the live Disney Marvel version. It's interesting to see what the studio team do going forward.🤗
These videos are insane! The amount of detail and the time frame they're released in. Well done sir, bravo.
I'm happy that you pointed out the Shakespeare quote because I agree that it is emphasizing that everyone in town are forced to play out in Wanda's reality.
Herb seems to start breaking down the walls once he overhears about the pregnancy. Theory he’s on lookout. Agnes isn’t around only she’s gotten close or inside the Wanda’s walls before and he hasn’t. He must have got word to Agnes that only person who’s gotten close to Wanda is alone with her and she’s pregnant. Suddenly Agnes and Herb chill and must have gotten confirmation Geraldine was expelled. It surprised them when Wanda called on Geraldine to come through for her and Vision in the magic show and they realised Agnes isn’t the person Wanda calls on for help, like with the boss’s dinner, anymore.
70s sh*t is distracting and CHEAP. Can we get to House Of M ...please?
@@SuperOmnicronsj44 nah i like it. it is like a puzzle.
1. Agnes is dressed “witchy” with huge buckles on her shoes and large white collar and cuffs under a black top. (Wizard of Oz witch and subsequent 70’s Halloween costumes.) The bike with basket also always reminds one of the WoO witch.
2. Wanda is dressed like a butterfly. Many groovy 70’s butterflies had those stripes and coloring.
3. The hexagon logos made an X in the middle before “WandaVision” covered it up.
4. Nobody has mentioned this, but the watch in the commercial has 1000m on the face. That’s REALLY deep and I remember typical watches ‘in the old days’ said more like 300-400m so wondering if that’s significant.
5. The newspaper when bent said two fire “hydras” added.
6. There’s a Phoenix on the wall in the living room of that couple.
So, does 6 imply the Phoenix Force in the MCU?
About the watch, I noticed that too. 1000 metres is considered an ultra extreme level even by today's standards (albeit now much more readily available), but it definitely unheard of in the 1960s. Back then 30-50 metres was about the max standard available as most mechanical watches were lucky to be splash resistant for the most part. Question is, is this an oversight of someone in production, or intentional???
also the purple, blue, and pink flowers in the bike basket match Agatha Harkness' color scheme in comics
On the newspaper thing, I think it actually says “two hydra agents” but the newspaper is folded in such a way as to only show the ‘N’ to appear like ‘hydrants’
@@TheEverseer Thanks for the confirmation. I’m a child of the seventies/eighties and seems like I remember when 300m came out the commercials acted like it was a big deal. And they were really bulky.
I've never read any of the comics, so these videos are so helpful. Makes me love the movies and shows even more. Great work, Screencrush!!!

The stork and butterflies where no created by Wanda but her son Wiccan
Another Easter egg which I found
That’s why she wasn’t in control of them.

Advert theory:
We hate adverts when they come on, so maybe they all represent things that hurt and have damaged Wanda to shape her life Toaster-Stark Missile, Watch-Strücker Experimented on her, Soap-Hydra experimented on her. I reckon in the next few weeks we will get Thanos, Ultron and Crossbones products
Tom: I *LIKE* this theory! Very astute!
New and improved Ultron whitens whites and brightens colors!
What Do You Mean By Crossbones?
@@missgranger9723 crossbones was the guy in civil war who tried to suicide bomb in the start which lead to wanda using her power to try stop him, but ending up blowing up the building killing people
I believe this! And if this is true, toaster being Stark, the watch being Strucker, and soap being Hydra, this hints that the commercials are refferencing the traumas of her life in chronological order, so the next commercial should reference Ultron. Ultron did try and upload his consciousness into the cradle, which in turn made Vision. Had Ultron succeeded, Wanda would never have met Vison. I think the next add might have something to do with selling baby cradles, especially since they just had kids, with a slogan along the lines of “So you never miss those moments in life.” Since Wanda never would’ve known Vision without the cradle. Furthermore, the events of Ultron showed Wanda (and Pietro) that “This is what SHIELD is supposed to be”. SHIELD was corrupt by HYDRA, so the logo might be something along the lines of the shield logo. Bit of a stretch, but that’s my guess.
I don't know what to make of any of this but it is so interesting!!! I'm loving all this!!! I love all of it!!!
Notice at 8:39 when the lady’s at the pool say “for the children” only dotty is standing up and the neighbor bows her head!!!!
The Hydra Soak packaging looks like the tesseract.

Mind blown, as a haphazard MCU watcher/bystander, watching the first three episodes of Wandavision today thinking of all the Easter egg/coincidences and then watched all your Easter egg videos, I love how there are so many layers to the MCU. As if it wasn’t hard enough to keep up with the movies. Marvel is just so deep, it’s just amazing. Me: having never actually read a comic book.
The Hydra Soak commercial also has the line "Where all your problems just float away!"
That reminded me of Sokovia
The real mystery is WHY ARE THE CREDITS SO GODDAMN LONG?? There's literally about 6 minutes worth at the end of the episode.
And then the usual minute long Marvel Studios opener, with a minute of sitcom titles at the beginning. So. Many. Credits...
@@jonnbridges I know. Its as if Marvel are playing an illusion on us on how much content we actually get when we see the run time before we watch the episode....
It's because they have a lot of international dubbing to include in the cast as well which makes it even longer. I think we usually don't feel the length of the credits on Netflix because by that time Netflix is shoving another show in our faces lol
Its to make the episodes seem longer than they actually are. When I got to the end, I was like damn it's just getting good, it can't be over all ready! So far, the short ass episodes are my only gripe about the show.
Was i the only that watched till the end for an end scene. 6 minutes of credits and no surprise at the end. Whaaaaaaaat.
The Hydra logos and hints are a red herring. They're way too obvious.
Agreed
Yeah I don't think it's Hydra, I think they're Hydra themed ads because they're inspired by her memories
Is Agents of Shield cannon because they are absolutely abolished in that show

This was a great video very insightful Easter eggs. I noticed after rewatching it that Visions boss started choking on his food immediately after he questioned Wanda & Visions backstory, and I’m sure it was because Wanda was in charge of the situation & it happened because he was breaking the illusion of the “reality”
This was so awesome. Thank you 👍
Interesting thing about Wanda but I genuinely believe she wasn’t controlling some of the magic in this episode. Rather it was her son wiccan who is a powerful wizard in the comics controlling it from her stomach. This is why she couldnt recall summoning the butterflys and why she couldn’t stop the stork.
And maybe Speed was the reason why the pregnancy was so fast!!
That could make sense, Wiccan is way more powerful than her.

"She came here because we're all... prisoners."
Westview is actually a facility where S.W.O.R.D. has dangerous people contained. That's why the doctor said "it's hard to escape". Agnes is aware of this reality and wants to escape from this facility through it. That's why Dottie said (something like) "you're dangerous" in the previous episode. And last, but not least, in the second trailer, almost at the end, we can see that Wanda is in a room with the Mind Stone, that seems to be a prision cell.
the prison cell is the one where she was experimented on by hydra.
Hmm that's an interestig theory. Maybe Wanda is a prisoner too, but too powerful to be fully contained.
Or maybe they are all dead and west view is actually a cemetery reanimated by Wanda
Oh, like the beginning to the storyline that introduced Hydracap? Where S.H.I.E.L.D. had used a sentient fragment of the (a?) cosmic cube, and mind wiped and imprisoned a bunch of bad guys in a typical American suburb. They all acted like normal folk in that too, until someone snuck in and started waking them all up.
That would kinda make sense, seeing as when Geraldine came through the barrier, armed soldiers swarmed her like she could be dangerous
Story is getting good the ultron name drop was awesome
I wish they released all the episodes at once. This is the type of show to binge watch
Also the actress who plays Geraldine, played in the great serie Mad Men which also took place in the sixties and she had a job as secretary in an advertising agency just like in this episode ^^
When her accent randomly came out, that scared the shit out of me 😢
Now that you mentioned the possibility of Wanda being able to control the entire town, I can easily see how she would be able to do so because if you remember in the age of Ultron she was able to move the civilians in Sokovia for their attack on Ultron. This would indicate that she could easily manipulate an entire town especially at this later time as her powers have seemingly gotten stronger. Hope this helps 😊
This show is GENIUS!!! I'm loving every bit of it!
