So God is all-knowing. But here you are supposed to give God information. And it's obvious information ("you are my God") that implies God is a dummy.
But more to the point - when one seeks something, he looks for something. Now, where exactly are we to seek God? There must be a way to find out where He is so we can seek Him out.
