BEARS EVERYWHERE At Cades Cove Great Smoky Mountain National Park Tennessee 2023

- We saw over 20 bears at Cades Cove in late April and early May of 2023. It was amazing to see them so closely. Cades Cove is like going back in time. We loved it!

Actually we saw 2 sets of sows with 3 cubs each at Cades cove today! Incredibly magical place!
It is such a cool place!
I’m going next Friday I’m praying we see at least 1 bear in its natural habitat

We've been through Cades Cove twice and never saw any bears. We did see them in the Nature loop outside of Gatlinburg. Great videos! Thanks for sharing!

I drove through Cades Cove twice in one day about a month ago and didn’t see one bear but plan to go again next year and try again.
That is very surprising. We saw them in the evening every day.
We didn't need to see them in the park! We had them on our porch and fishing pier at our cabin in Wears Valley! and looking in our cabin window ! Too close for comfort! Made noise with pots and pans when in the cabin to scare them away and he just got more agitated and lurched at the window lol! We were inside for one bear and sitting outside on the porch when another, a mom and her 3 cubs , came up the stairs. Luckily we were by the door to dodge inside.. we didn't even have any food and the trash 🎉garbage can was empty !Guess they just frequent those cabins all the time looking for food! We were definitely on alert for them while there!
The people that were out of their cars - are stupid - You Never Ever Get out of your care to get a closer look - respect Nature - we are in their world - if someone were to get attacked - it would be the bears fault - Stupid people - I could just scream at those people - stupid - if you don’t think they will attack you your so wrong they are fast - Respect nature - Please - I think the park areas should put up cameras and anybody out of car should get fined - But I can just hear - people saying we got out for a look and Bear just turned and attacked us - well if your out of your car - and you took that chance - we’ll - don’t blame the bear - it’s your own fault - in these areas we’re in their world they aren’t in ours
I've been to Cades Cove 5 times and have not seen 1 bear. Morning or evening. People that were at one of the pull offsthat we stopped at said they saw a hand full in the same area that just came through about 5 mins before we pulled in. I love the scenery at cades and will continue to go back every chance i get, but i wish i would see some bears. We usually go in late March or early April, so maybe were just not going at the right time. No clue.
Not sure. These videos were taken the last few days of April. We went three days in a row and saw bears every day. Hope you have better juck next time.

Was there last week and you may not believe this but in the 8 days we were there we lost count or how many and it was over 100. Last November there were so many they even had the gatl nberg trail closed. A park ranger told me they didn’t know what was going on with the bears and then he also mentioned fewer deer lol. It was wild but I love bears so it was awesome !
