Oh my. Since everyone's favourite Aussie Snowrunner hung up his hat n keys, I've been searching for a nice chill, voice over "how to" style Snowrunner experience. Can't wait for more!
I really miss @KnullModem He was my inspiration to start this project and the Michigan Walkthrough I did was heavily inspired by his style. Thanks for being here ✌️
What an about treat this was. Long episode with relaxed gameplay, loads of creative routes and excellent choice of music. I love this style. Thank you!
Funny, i was exactly in between the two trees just before the 1st watch tower, i just couldn't get pass the tree branches, i guess they grew stronger after this video 😂
HOLY COW!!! Lol! I had to pause for a while a catch up in game! I had a mess of a tangle and mega damage comin down that waterfall! Ah, hahaha! Yer intro is, as Zinng says... Noice! 😎 This was a super helpful, and super fun round of tasks and exploring to begin with! I actually can't wait for the crafting and other weird things to complete contracts! Tedious and annoying for most! But I like it so far. Been like 70% done for months in this region! 😆 My better half commented that the "mood music" was enough for her to sit down and watch and feel engaged! Lol! Sweet action sir! Well done!!!
I like the trip around the map too. Dude, those water falls will mess your truck up! 😅 Occasionally my better half will get engaged in my videos too, but it's not often. Only when the music is interesting to her. The next episode will be another great trip around Big Salmon Peak so it should be a good time 👍
They do perform well, mostly from the extra weight of the F750 when loaded down with supplies, but also with the additional mass of the tires themselves (since it uses truck tires). It's a great snow region truck
@CarrotDoesTheCrazy-YT wow! That all sounds amazing but I could never do the 500 ft up zip line. 🤢 The older I get the more afraid of heights I am. I can't even watch videos of people high up without getting sick to my stomach. You weren't afraid of that?
@CarrotDoesTheCrazy-YT you don't have to feel bad, I was always fearless my whole life and did a lot of incredible things. The fear of heights just started developing over the last few years. It's weird how things change in a lifetime.
I used New Game Plus to make it always daytime for the videos. After finishing Michigan I realized the night scenes were too dark to see what was going on so I restarted my save when I moved to Alaska.
41:53 when I used the forklift on Nintendo Switch it lets me move the forklift while staying in automatic so you can move and do the adjustments as you go. It takes practice though.
@@zorshix love love love it! you're my favorite youtuber right now. i also like when you use more relaxing music, like in this video, but i also dont mind the variation that you do in some other ones.
Can the F750 not hook up scout trailers? Or is it just because of the extended bed? And how do you know how much fuel has to be left in the trailer before dropping it off? I didn't know there was a minimum.
The F-750 can only connect to big trailers, no scout trailers. Doesn't matter what addon you have installed. The 10% rule is given in the game. If you try to turn it in with less it will give you a notification saying it needs at least 10%. Good questions BTW
Oh! I didn't realize that about the Ford and have not seen that warning yet about fuel trailers. I guess I just haven't needed to use that much but it's good to know especially seeing as some won't be full to begin with. I'm in Kola Peninsula now but have not yet rescued the F750.
It's pretty good although you will need to rescue it in Kola. I have a video here that shows it's location. ua-cam.com/video/dK4IQOjm_LI/v-deo.html You will also need the top engine upgrade that we found in episode 12 here. ua-cam.com/video/JwTYGcqa-F4/v-deo.htmlsi=W4EASzlpgLp8Akgy
Incredible game developers to make such beautiful maps AND have the ability to create difficult challenges. The early game (especially year 1) was a time when they went hardcore on the difficulty level, culminating in Amur as the final challenge. After that it seems they have been making them easier and easier as they go. Also there weren't any of the OP trucks that we have now, the best was the Zikz 605r and that wasn't released until the end of year 1.
@@zorshix yeah I still haven’t had time to finish Amur. Got the trucks and opened up all garages but man it seems like I’m never gonna find the time for it. 😅 Thank you for making it easier man. 😄
There's a reason why Noone likes Yukon They were still trying to figure out what was too hard and Yukon was way past it to the point where they had to perform it's mission to make it somewhat easier
@zorshix did you do it when you had to take 15 cabins to each cabin drop offs or when it toke double the material When it first launch it was ridiculous even now the contracts are big but it's not the main problem The main problem now is that's both maps (especially the second one) is just super mud and ice I'm fine with a map being mostly mud and dirt but supermud just sucks to play with especially when you need chained tire for half the map
@Charles-oe4kj I didn't play it like that. I started when Don was the current region so they must've changed it by then. Yeah the supermud and snow can be a hassle. I think the intention was to have different trucks setup for different parts of the map. Trucks with chains for the transport and offroad trucks with mud tires for the nasty areas. That makes sense to me because they implemented cargo storage zones for the first time where you can transfer between trucks without a crane.
To be honest i though i was gonna need chain tyres on this map when transporting cargo but u really dont. Even on the right side of the map there is only 1 uphill road that is icy leading up to the Metal beams factory but u dont even need chains to get up there, just stick 1 set of tyres to the side of the road in the snow and u can get up there even with a heavy load. No doubt the map looks good but i really dont like how they have restricted your paths with that conveyor belt thats coming down from the mountain and cutting off the top and bottom parts of the map. If u dont find unmarked shortcuts then this map is a bloody nightmare trying to drive around.
Heyoh, I appreciate the insights and editing, and everything about your vids, except for the huge caveat that the music is distracting, too loud, and extremely not to my taste. @liddynicole from the main menu, choose Co-op and then select 'find a game'. It will match you with a public server where someone else is hosting their own map. It's a good way to get practice and experience playing different maps. Note: it's good to have a separate save file from your solo playthrough for Co-op since you will only be able to use the trucks you have retained in storage. You can start a separate newgame+ profile and give yourself rank 30 and all upgrades unlocked from the start. You can even make the trucks free to get a fleet right away. Then after starting the game, just skip the tutorial (if needed) in the settings menu, at the bottom of the first page. Exit back to main menu and select Co-op following the directions I mentioned above. You will find yourself in someone else's game and start playing. It's a lot of fun.
@liddynicole I should mention you will need to buy and upgrade whatever trucks you want to use before exiting your save first. Make sure you retain them!

Hi zOrShix, your game (or video?) is much more color vibrant versus the real game, is that pre or post recording?
That's post recording added color saturation.

It does, but it can only connect to the bigger truck trailers. No scout trailer support. Great question BTW 👍
