To keep it simple assassins are a bloodline or generation or organization of killers a hitmen is simply one individual you’ll see one hitmen but you won’t always see one assassin and assassins are usually assigned from higher ups wealthy or protected people a hitman any and everyone can get and any and everyone can be both kill yes but up for hire yes but one is a organization through a bloodline they created passed down generations and the other is just a highly trained guy knowledgeable who likes easy cash he can stop whenever and won’t be shunned
