Sky Reef Club Cozumel, near Yucab

Inexpensive day at Sky Reef beach restaurant and snorkel in Cozumel, Mexico. We decided not to book an excursion in Cozumel and just winged it. We ended up hanging out at Sky Reef for the day. They have a restaurant and snorkel supplies. Made for an easy day. The reef was average, but it was worth the time away from the crowds. The actual reef that the club is closest to is Yucab.

Going next week May 11 Saturday, my 1st cruise. Looking at this place and hope it is not crowded. thought about a boat trip( never did one) but didn't want to be pushed for time.

It's not bad for a way to get in the water and see some fish. If you can, booking an excursion with your ship may be better but more expensive I would think. It will cost about $20 each way in a cab fyi.

Let me know if you have tried this place? or do you know a better cheap option for Cozumel?

K' hear goes. .... the real reef is very nearby off the right of Skyreef called Chankanaab shallow reef. Looks like you hit the fringe of that area )
