Says impeaching max is a harder sell. So decides to vote only the council can vote to impeach. Solidifying the position max is in. Actually stupid.
Interesting RP. Seems like Murph is playing some sort of long game here, but not entirely sure. Shame Murphy thinks Solomon is burned though
I don’t people understand Murphy position. beyond reproach it means no corruption right. He saw Solomon play a part in the crime of shooting the council he can’t ignore it right and just cause k wants him to stop he can’t stop cause both are corruption. So it is what it is

@@mikemugs7it’s similar how Solomon main reasoning after hearing everything was to not tell tj cause tj would have to tell. It’s basically too much to ignore. Just to put it into perspective Solomon is surprised by the meeting change, calls elli, elli is communicating to cg, Solomon when walking up the stairs makes sure he’s the last one in by saying I need to take a piss to make sure everyone is their before him, Solomon leaves the door unlocked when he comes in. (Alex noticed this but got distracted by turgle melon) because Solomon had a call they could pinpoint the exact time of everything due to the video. Solomon ducks down and no one shoots at Solomon they run past him to shoot tj. Solomon is shot by Barry cause of tj, Barry confirms he was admc.
The reality is I get people saying Murphy should ignore it, but ooc he can’t because that would corruption. Anything k says now has to be told to the officers because Murphy position and it is what it is. To be fair asking to sit next to someone that was involved in a plan to kill you is probably not going to happen.

He also told k he can’t stop it cause that would be corrupt Murphy can’t do anything for k and the more info k gives him the worse it is because he has to tell that info he can’t not say the info due to his position. K just didn’t get it. Crane told him how the system works 3 people on the council are able to be corrupted those 3 people have to convince one person to vote with them. And they win all tie breakers. Deputy mayor is counted for the 3 people so reality is the mayor needs 2 others to vote with him while the deputy needs 4. In perspective the mayor just needs 4 votes while the deputy needs 5. Cg didn’t understand

Murphy is beyond reproach like the treasure. Basically means if a crime happens they have to report it they can’t opt out to right. Murphy has to do what is right based on the laws meaning Solomon broke the council law, and got them shot he cannot stop the impeachment articles for k due to that being corrupt. It’s a shitty position to be in cause Murphy has to do what is right. Murphy kept telling him he can’t stop it and he has to do what is right which k didn’t understand. Funny cause crane told him about Murphy and the treasurer being beyond reproach

That doesnt mean its stops the RP bruh. 100% K will still RP it out as it is, even if he knew OOC murph cant be corrupt because it will made sense IC for him to act that way because even before murph was loyal and do everything he ask and now IC it doesnt made sense for murphy to say those things. Murphy still has a choice from the start, he made to it himself tho, he can still talk to K with respectfully and not to sound like a total fed. But he choose this path
Sadly if his term comes to end he’ll just become a regular lawyer after than and CG and him will not be in the good terms anymore. I remember he even left the judge position and came back as a lawyer since CG dont have good laywer when ramee and siobhan left.
@@strawi3erry311 that's a very dumb interpretation of what "beyond reproach" means and why it is even a thing. His position as head of the bar requires his character to not be corrupt while serving his duty, meaning he cannot abuse his powers in any way. That's it. He is not required to "report every crime he sees" or "always do the right thing". His OOC obligations are only tied to his position and its powers. Same for the treasurer, he cannot embezzle city funds, but he can choose to not report a crime if it has nothing to do with the treasury.

I think since Murphy is putting out the impeachment for Solomon, it will make Murphy less suspicious in the council’s eye…which then Murphy can slowly enact his plans to impeach the mayor and Siobhan.
Well they got like 5 weeks left of 6 months in office (assuming shiobhan doesnt win the next cycle) so time’s running out
Plus it makes no sense removing your ally, and weakening your own position

They are not unfortunately for them their too much evidence in Solomon involvement. The surprise the meeting was pushed back, and the fact he left the door unlocked and him being the last one in on purpose. It sucks it is what it is. Max also did warn him not disclosing his ties would bite him but he didn’t listen.

Max opened the door and it was actually Murphy who suggested to open the door to let people inside. You're trying to spin the narrative like the council that you love to watch
