The officiating of this game was unfathomable. Sharks played a good first 2 periods and had a poor third…something par for the course this season. Vanacek did the best he could. Celebrini battled through an injury scare. Kovalenko continues to be a solid addition.
I’ve noticed that since we caught up that new goalie from our AHL affiliate, we have been playing a very entertaining game of hockey…. We got all the Homies playing a bingo game 🥅! But what do I now…. I was there preteen teen throughout the 90s and I watched a lot of hockey… we would have an NHL team playing 10 minutes south I rest my head every night. I’m curious if all the players who are on the coyotes last year are playing the way they are because they’re being treated like the professional athletes they are… and then obviously with the addition of Sergachev and (I think McBain?) But that game was well worth staying up late to watch the team get 3 points & W with .38 seconds left. …that Masked Man with the Pads though🔥🔥🔥🔥
I knew a guy who would say all bad calls and non calls even out for all teams in all sports. I think that is silly insanity based on that all individual games are never going to be equal for pro sports teams. If a team lost a championship only because of the refs bad calls and no calls the only way it could even out is if the team wins a championship due to bad calls and non calls of the refs helping the same team to win the championship later. The problem with that is some teams do not reach the championship again so it can never even out. He was trying to say that a random bad ref will do it to the other team later but even if a team got 100 or more calls / non calls that were unfair and bad to help them in the regular season if they have a first round playoff exit it will never be equal to the bad calls and non calls that cost them the championship. He thinks I take it too literally and he does not take it literally enough.
My goodness these sharks fans are crying up a storm. Utah almost doubled their shots and man do we love to see it. Let’s go Utah!! 6 game win streak on the road and coming for that wild card slot.
Hey clown, it isn’t only sharks fans online commenting on the horrible officiating. Everyone can see it and I am not one to blame refs. Btw, it’s disgusting that one of your guys, the same one as last time that made Celebrini miss more than 10 games, targeted him again. Nearly 30 years old and going after an 18 year old 😂 Embarrassing.
Refs this, refs that. Blame the Sharks' piss poor defense that has plagued them all year and left their goalies out to dry. Blame Vanecek's inconsistent goaltending. 2 of those goals, especially Utah's game winner, were stoppable. You GOTTA make that save. Blame the Sharks' awful penalty kill that provides zero pressure and fails remarkably again and again at getting the puck out. Blame the Sharks getting horribly outshot AT HOME. This loss was on them and it shows how high they have to climb to be considered a quality team.
These refs were horrible. Complete garbage. It was blatantly one sided against the sharks. And these morons in the media saying "the sharks lost control of their emotions" are complete goof balls. Its like they only watched 5 minutes of the game. Those refs need to be fined for doing so badly.
You my friend have a Brain! I was at this game and everyone was so loud chanting “REF YOU SUCK”. We were playing in San Jose but it felt like the refs had something against us like our players had messed with their wifes
@9:40 - LOL! Get a load of the looks of dismay and agony from the Sharks fans in the first couple of rows as Clayton Keller celebrates his last-minute goal! Shades of a last-minute loss to Vancouver earlier this season, Sharks fans? Even when this Utah team was still representing Arizona, I found that I still liked that young gun, Mr. Keller!
I was at this game and it was genuinely the worst officiating I've ever seen. The third period was an absolute joke. Celebrini was almost paralyzed in the first with a clear boarding and was the worst no call I've ever seen. I hope these refs are disciplined because this was absolutely ridiculous. It was the loudest I've ever heard the shark tank in my life and everybody was screaming "ref you suck." I never want to see these refs faces in the NHL again.
Was not a boarding penalty. Cele cut in front of Stenlund as Stenlund was battling another sharks player for the puck. He put himself in a bad position.
Is there any team that has bigger Homer announcers than the sharks? I wanted them to lose just because that alone. I've never seen a group of announcers cry about every little thing. And not surprising their fans are following suit in this comment section
You’re a clown. The shark announcers are some of the best in the league. They always respect other teams and know their facts meanwhile most teams (especially those on the East we all know of the East coast bias) will not even know the names of sharks players. I am not one to blame any games on refs, but this one was certainly horribly officiated and it isn’t only sharks fans saying so.
What an effort by Utah! And they got payback for the last game against San Jose, coming back from behind and stealing it at the death like the Sharks did. Winning 4 of the last 5. Looking good!
Seriously, these Shark fans are the biggest cry babies I’ve ever seen. You guys stole one from Utah, no Utah fan cried about the refs. You guys lose this one, you blame your loss on the refs. Pathetic! Take the L!
Utah did not lose the first game to the sharks because of the refs so why would utah fans cry about it? The refs in sports 100% cause some teams to win or lose on their own. The no call in the saints vs rams playoff game 2019. The kings vs Lakers playoff game 6 in 2002. That bad calls and non calls cant be challenged just makes a league look amateur. Utah is talented enough to beat the sharks without the refs helping them.
@@DanRaidersWarriorsSharksGiants you only mentioned two of the more famous ones. And one of them came down to one call, which i will agree with. But you REALLY think the refs favor UTAH of all places? Really?! Small markets don’t get favored by the refs, okay?
NHL Game 6 Highlights | Stars vs. Avalanche - May 17, 2024 That overturned non goal was a goal in this game. They even reviewed it and still got it wrong. It just makes the NHL look like a beer league.
@@Boman751 The refs in that lakers vs kings game it was a lot more than 1 bad call. It is viewed as the most rigged game in nba history. A ref missing calls or giving bad calls does not necessarily mean he favors one team even though he could. That one former nba ref said the league would tell him to help some teams win sometimes. A ref can do bad calls or non calls in any context so the small market argument doesnt work.

Worst officiated game in recent memory. The final 5 minutes of the third period alone should be cause for serious reprimands to those officials.
Акулы чемпионы по пропусканию шайб на последних минутах...Юта по ходу сейчас очень сильна!
People are crying about the refs but fact is we got owned the entire third period and didn’t deserve to win.
Facts. How about not leaving a guy wide open to tie the game at 3. How about Vanecek not letting in a softie in the final minute.

Word, if you fall apart and leave a wide open shot for game you deserve to lose. Period.
