Inej's hallucination trip toxin and Kaz / Inej church scene are my favorite breathtaking moments of this season. And there is so many amazing breath taking moment this season. But there are my absolute favorites ones. I don't know how I will be able to wait 1 year or 2 before to see them again together...

Hey omg I love your videos I just think is so interesting how Kaz is in Inez dreams, the way she thinks of him, because he is calm and collected in that intimate scenario, as he is in everyday operations, when in reality (I also read the books) when Kaz is THAT close to inej (bathroom scene) he is crumbling and almost hyperventilating, with no composure whatsoever.

the way i would describe the dynamic with this dream and everything: she used to “idolise” him a lil too much before all of the recent events, and at the end of the episode she says “hope is dangerous. coulds your judgement”. NOW SHE SEES THE WHOLE SITUATION AND HIM…🤧

the editing - the only thing that can take the edge off Kaz's ghastly backstory is immediately switching to wesper in bed. If you like Nikolai and don't mind some for the fans crows/S&B mashup you should read King of Scars/Rule of Wolves! Zoya and Nikolai visit the Van Eyck mansion!

The part with Mal and Baghra is actually in Ruin and Rising! Not really book-accurate, but the scene is based on that. For Season 2, the showrunners took a lot of creative spin on the show, especially on the S&B side. So yeah, it has a polarizing reception with the show's audience. But I like it, and based on your reactions, you feel the same way too! So that's great because I feel like I'm the only one who liked it.🥹

They adapted Acts 1 and 3 of Siege and Storm and probably Acts 2/3 of Ruin and Rising. It's all a blur for me as I read it long ago, but basically - Episodes 1-4: Siege and Storm Episodes 5-8: Ruin and Rising with bits of King of Scars on the S&B side. The crows' side used bits of Crooked Kingdom, so I'm curious about what will be used in the Six of Crow's spin-off if Netflix greenlights it.
My guess is that the spin-off will focus on SoC book because of how the last episode ends (Kaz's voiceover when all *that* happens)
I loved it too. I mean some episodes were a bit weak pacing-wise but still with great moments in them and especially 5,6 and 8!!!!!!! were amazing!!!
I love the mash-up and everything we are getting from the books😍
And the setups for hopefully the next season with Nikolai and the Crows plot (and Mal and Alina) was unexpected but brilliant in my eyes!!!!

omg, i need to watch the last episode asap, now i’m super excited! but i agree, i think they’ll adapt SoC for this spin-off, but with slightest changes to fit the ones they made in this show 🙂
with S1 i definitely wasn’t a fav of them mixing 2 book series in one show, but this season… it feels so unreal and these character “collabs” are absolutely incredible 🥹
Since you clearly veryyy obviously love Nikolai (as everyone should!!) you'd def enjoy King of Scars duology! KoS duology has everything!! Multiple PoV chapters, Crows mentions in the first book, appearances in the second, ZOYALAI!! (I love them as much as I love every other Crows ships, THEY'RE THAT GOOD!), David-Genya (David didn't die in s&b trilogy). But alsoo remember that they are veryy plot driven as much as character driven. They contain very huge world building, grishaverse politics, more Shuhan, more Fjerda and reallyy soo much more on the side of grisha saints' tales. I LOVE books that are dense with details and those two are veryy much like that. It's not really really necessary for you to finish S&B trilogy since this show covered almost all of it and they only changed Alina's ending. But in case you wanna read KoS duology but doesn't want to finish S&B trilogy here's the spoiler for Alina's ending: (I am not getting every single detail exact but) In books the cost of Merzost is Alina loosing her powers, Mal is "born" again because only the amplifier part of him is dead. They both are very much together. They stage Alina's death while destroying fold so that she and Mal can go live a normal life together in a random farm house in Ravka. They basically adopt a kid (I think his name is Misha. I could be wrong it's been a while). This kid used to be around Baghra all the time when she is at little palace. After her death basically Mal and Alina adopts him and they all live together happily. Nikolai, Zoya, Genya visits them once in a while. Alina looses all her powers, Mal looses his amplifier and tracker abilities, other random people around the world gets Sun Summoner abilities!! So basically there are people around the worid that can summon sun (obv not as powerful as her) but they are a new order or Etherealki like Squallers or Tidemakers.

When the S&B sign comes up in episode 5 and you see the 5 crows on top - I think the the one crow behind the window should represent Matthias because he isn't with the other 5 crows. But I don't know, it's just my guess and what seems logical to me😂
