The road to finding their love becomes so dangerous that they end up losing themselves in the process. They ask for their love to call back but they never did. To them it doesn’t matter if they loose themselves as long as they find their love. They couldn’t find their love anywhere and they felt completely broken. They were so hurt and tired that their mind created a fantasy to carry on living. That illusion... dream... fantasy... was leading them away from what they thought was once they’re love. But that's understandable, you can't do both in a live, but check it out...the voices at 0:51 and 3:14 don't sound the same. Similar, but not the same, imo.
