2024 Sony 85” Bravia 9 4K MiniLED smart-TV unboxing and wall mounting

Sony K85XR90 mounted on a fiberboard wall with studs of wood on a Vogels 3605 wall mount. I mount TVs for a living in Oslo, Norway, I see all kinds of TVs in my job. Sony is always fun to unbox, there is no other TV that comes with this many parts. It even came with 2 remotes.

Thanks for your video!!! I bought this TV with the 3605 mount, and I was a bit nervous about installing it, especially when choosing the VESA screws, because I already broke a Philips OLED screen by using screws that were too long. 😢😢😠

I am sitting the equivalent distance from a 77" Sony OLED for 4 years. I am 71 y.o. I get my eyes checked every year or two. My vision has not changed much at all since I was 50.

Recommended viewing distance for an 85" TV is 8.5 feet (or 2.6 meters) if you want to get a 40 degree "cinematic view." From the looks of this room he is NOT TOO CLOSE, and WILL NOT get your nebulous "eye problems."
