I used to paint like this some years back but just threw them away after holding on to them for some time as I thought people were not ready for this type of art. How wrong was I!! It is beautiful, Gerda! Reminds me of some parts of Arizona (a southwestern state in the US). I used to live there, and many times parts of the desert would turn those colors at dusk. Your painting even shows the "tops of flat rocks" in the background. :)

Liebe Gerda Lipski. Meine Versuche viel Tiefe zu erzeugen beginne ich neuerdings immer mit einer dunklen Farbe als Untergrund. Mir gefallen die diversen Techniken übereinander sehr, Zumal Du wieder meine Lieblingsmethoden angewandt hast. Das verteilen der Farben mit Spachtel und Wischer finde ich extrem effektiv. Very inspiring work. I echo some others; I love that you experiment and that sometimes it doesn't go so well. But you continue and the end result is just beautiful. Such great texture,,, even your 'mistakes' turn out wonderful. The light gray/blue glaze over the orange gives a cool, hazy atmospheric effect. :)

Many choices can be made for the matte coloring, this was enjoyable to watch how it all comes together in the end. Good stuff ! ! !

Man kann den Karton mit Acryl Malgel transparent auf ein Holz aufziehen und dann in einen Rahmen ohne Glas
