How about Layer 2 and Layer 3 managed switches???
We are talking about Cisco Managed Switches (both layer 2 and Layer 3 ). if you are looking for something specific details, please let me know
@@irashacademy Thanks, I just did. I see nothing on UA-cam on explanations and differences on Layer 2 and Layer 3 managed switches.
@@josephjefferson2617 lets make this simple . switches are 2 types based on the concept of management .manageable and non manageable . Non manageable switches are coming as a default box with layer 2 functionality only . manufacturer made it with default VLAN and we wont be able to make any considerable changes in it . manageable switches are able to manage and they are available as 2 type. layer 2 and layer 3 . the differences between Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches in functionality are described in this video . please let me know if you need more detail .
Sir, what is difference between router & layer 3 switch ,
Router is a Software based Device and it has more features in the base of Routing , but they are slower in action .
Layer 3 switches are Hardware based Devices , but less features in routing . but they are fast in action
