I wonder if Horizon devs are toying with the idea of relaunching everything using Unreal once the project to import all the assets is complete. Would be interesting to see FFXI in a more updated graphics environment.
I REALLY hope SE is watching...FFXI Remastered in Unreal Engine or more realistic would be Creative Business III (even though one has been cancelled already) would be an AMAZING project!

I look at that snowy place and think Xarcabard more than I do Glacier. Tree I'm pretty sure is meant to be Dragon's Aery, I doubt it's tree proper given its size and it's way too cramped. Fafnir is popped in Dragon's Aery too which gives it away. That spot your claiming to be Aery isn't...and it's clear as day. Fafnir was going to have an arena like Bahamut and Oryu and that's what that ACTUALLY is. So you'd go to a spot in Aery, hit a point and then you'd get sent to the arena for him.
I feel like you're mincing words on what is/isn't Dragon's Aery. Even if it was meant to be a bcnm, the location itself fits the definition of what an aery is.

I think these are very early maps of zones we have. The first one most probably being an early Xarcabard.
That tree zone is actually cool as F and im sad its not in retail :(
The tree area reminds me of kingdom hearts. In Tarzan's world there is a zone where you fight a mini boss similar to that

The tunnel system underneath the Tree looks like a calcified system of roots. It's almost like the old tree died and a new one sprouted inside.

@@BBoy_PopTart they are capable, but it does outside their budget, also their investor might not agree to that idea

So I play on my RoG Ally, it's a friggin handheld. I imagine any modern-ish laptop should have zero issues.
