Moving Into my New Place in Canada | September 2024 | Filipino Canadian Life Vlogs

Join me as I take on the challenge of moving into my new place and transforming it into my dream space.
I am beyond excited to share this journey with you mga ka-Delight today as I finally move into my new place in September 2024! I'm so grateful because the Lord put me in this place and I wanna have you guys along for the ride.
Packing up my entire life into boxes and bags has been a challenge, to say the least. I mean, who knew I had so much stuff? It's crazy how much we accumulate over the years, and it's even hard trying to decide what to keep and what to donate or throw away.
The hardest part for me has been trying to figure out where everything is going to go in the new house. I've been measuring rooms, doorways, and furniture, trying to visualize how it's all going to fit together. It's like a big puzzle, and I'm determined to get it just right.
And let's not even get started on the logistics of the move itself. Since just me and all my stuff are going, I decided to do it myself and just use my car for the move and not hire somebody to do for me. There were a few friends who helped me with the heavy stuff like the TV and side tables. Big shout out to Rowena and Steve for the big help. It's been a lot to handle, but I'm feeling pretty confident that it's all going to come together smoothly because the Lord is with me.
Today's the day - moving day! I'm so excited to finally start bringing all my boxes and furniture into the new place. We're going to load up the car, and then head over to the new place. I'll take you guys through the whole process, from packing up the last few items to doing the initial walkthrough of the empty rooms.
As I am loading up the car, I'm feeling a mix of emotions - excitement for this new chapter, but also a little bit of sadness leaving behind the old place because I really like this cottage house even it has a lot of work but it keeps me busy in the winter and summer times. It's weird to think that I'll never be living in that house again, but I know that this new place is going to be so much better because I know that the Lord has a plan why He put me in this new place.
We're finally at the new house, and I'm taking a quick walk-through to get a sense of the layout and the natural light. It's looking even better than I remembered, and I can already envision how I'm going to decorate the room.
The initial walkthrough was amazing, but now it's time to get to work. We need to unpack the essentials - you know, the tea boiler, particularly the kitchen!

One of the most memorable moments of the move so far has been when driving uphill and its dark already, maybe the last load and a deer run across the road and I had to break hard and suddenly and I thought I was gonna hit it, I pulled over and stopped to see if the deer was okay, then I saw the deer sitting comfortably on the other side of the road and not harmed. Oh thank God! Halleluyah! So after that load I decided to call it a night and had supper and went home to the new place. I’m telling you, you wouldn’t feel you are tired until you rest and realized you are ready for bed.
As I'm sitting here in my room, surrounded by boxes and chaos, I'm feeling so grateful to the Lord that We made it and I’m excited for this new chapter of my life. It's not perfect, but I have my own space, and I can't wait to make it feel like home.
