Braving The Elements at Henlow Bridge Lakes

A classic Budget Angler session, I left the house to blue skies and no wind only for a storm to arrive, destroying my brolly and soaking me. I also managed to break my pod and to cap it off the sun came out as I was packing up! Henlow Bridge Lakes is a lovely venue though and well worth a visit. I'll be back.

Brilliant mate in such bad weather it’s not nice getting wet, fighting against the wind and getting cold..... but you done it and caught fish so hat off to you thanks. You got lot of stuff going on so don’t be hard on yourself have a week off we won’t mind.

Its grim fishing in this weather i had a pike session the other day and it was baltic and i blanked u caught a few andy so it makes it worth while cheers tight lines

Hi can you walk from the station arlsley to the complex henlow bridge. Might try it soon. And what the best way to fish and best lake. Any info would be great

Hello mate, yes you can, it's a 5 minute walk. I've only fished Vincent's lake, and maggots, worm, bread, and sweetcorn have all worked well float fishing. Traditional carp techniques will yield some lovely fish I'm sure. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 😀👍🎣
