That wonderful wall which you pin your quilt squares to hold and view, any tips to build???
Plus, your quilts are amazing! And your teaching is ever so appreciated!!! I'm using (or trying to) your techniques. I built my facia squares some time back before I had any idea what I was doing. Using your techniques is really helping me put the quilt together - finally 😄 Thank you for all your wonderful posts/videos.
Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️our design wall is made from acoustic board, it’s light weight and about 1/2” thick. We attached it to the wall with screws.
@@PatternPooleTV oh gosh! Thank you. I've been trying different materials with a large very heavy piece of wood. Nothing working nearly as well as yours. Acoustic board. Thank you!
Красота.Здоровья вам.
Sew pretty 😍
Me gusta su técnica ,me gustaría que me diga cómo hace los dibujos del centro muchas gracias
I have heard that part of the machine that the quilt goes through called the Harp.
Oh yes the harp, I couldn’t think of the name at the time ha ha thank you 🙏
Hello
I have a question for u
I'm doing a carpenter star qayg how would do the measurements and join the blocks together.
I love ur videos that u show.
Lisa
I love your quilts and instructions. I have one question though, can you use a walking foot when doing the stitch in the ditch?
Yes you can. On some machines it may feed through better with a walking foot.
Thank you!
Does the QAYG method make quilts stiffer? Just curious! I really enjoy your videos and am going to try this method! Thank you!💕
Thanks ❤️ No I don’t believe that it does.
Monica, please advise how many "Downloads' there are for 'My Island Home'. I have been in and out of hospital since August and have managed to purchase and print 13. Would this be the final one? Thank you both for your wonderful patience and expertise. Keep well.
There are 14 in total because there are 2 parts to part 2. Part 13 is the final set with the border and binding. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, hope that you're having fun making the quilt!
Beautiful quilt! What batting joining tape do you recommend?
We use Matilda’s Own batting joining tape.
Do you have any qayg Christmas tree skirt patterns?
Las aplicaciones como las hace gracias
How did you construct your display board?
It is called acoustic board, it’s very light and it’s about 1/2” thick. We attached it to the wall with screws. We purchased it from our local hardware store.
How Wide do you cut the strips to maken that joint?
1" for the front strip and 1 3/4" for the back strip. (Or 1 1/2" for the back strip if you prefer to hand sew it in place)
What glue pen do you use?
We use the Sewline glue pen.
