    Ted, really enjoyed your video and the effort your are putting in. Be guarded against proselytizing too much about man and nature. Only about 1% of the worlds population can live on 10 acres of great farmland.

    Thank you for doing this!!! I do believe between technology and projects like this, we will find a balance... unfortunately, I think it will have to get much worst before more people wake up.

    Using lumber as the main building material for homes is actually more environmentally beneficial than using bricks, mortar and cement, or steel. That said, it becomes necessary to regrow lumber, but more important is the recreation of an environment that equals the original old growth forest to maintain the abundance and diversity that is the basis for life on earth.

    English Ivy is not as bad as Oriental Bittersweet, its like a war on the east coast. they will strangle trees faster than English ivy, that and japanese honeysuckle they can completely take over an area and smother or strangle trees by girdling them within a a few years, I saved a few small oak trees that were smothered in the vines I only noticed them in the fall when they red leaves were showing
