Beautiful set! I love the color combination! I had the same struggles with making press-ons and still haven't managed to get a perfect set LOL, but it's getting better! Part of the reason it's so wide when you apply is because of the bulk from the dip powder and the gel. When doing it on yourself, it's easier to determine thickness and shape accordingly. When the nail is on a stand, it's hard to figure out much to file. I learned that when working with dip, you really have to do thin layers and gradually approach the cuticle and edges so that it looks more natural when you apply them after decorating. I also try to do a few sets at a time so that I don't fumble around as much with long nails. Since I'm in nursing school, I unfortunately can't have long nails or product on my nails, so I started making press-ons to have sets I can pop on and off for special occasions! But, I do love to just do my regular nails when they are long and I'm not in school. Thanks for the tutorial!
They're really pretty Jess...some of the nail's I'll be doing on myself will be press on nail's because my hand's shake so I think press ons will be easier but we'll see lol...thankyou for sharing xo 💜💅💜
I think dips are just too thick on press-ons to look natural. I make press-ons for my daughter because she lives far away and I do gels and they stay nice and thin. Pretty though.
I have seen so many lovely press ons using dip powders though and they don’t look thick at all. I need press on lessons 😂. I prefer to stay away from gels if I can, but I am sure they do lend to a thinner application.
@@FragaliciousNailsbyJess I have seen people do them but they don't look as natural to me as the gels. I have even done regular polish on them because they do stay on the nails well. If I do regular polish, I let them dry overnight and then use gel top coat because they look nicer and last better. Especially as they grow out I find they need to be as thin as possible.
Gorgeous nails! I love how you dedicate this for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Love this!
Thank you so much! My mom is a breast cancer survivor, so I do at least one BCA mani every year to honor her.

Thank you for the advice. This was my very first attempt at making press ons. I definitely have a lot to learn.
This mani is beautiful! And the white polish under the decal? BRILLIANT!
Thank you! Yes, using a white polish to paint the back of a decal to use over colors is a game changer. It really makes all the difference.
@@FragaliciousNailsbyJess I love that tip!! Going to try it👍
@@FragaliciousNailsbyJess It really is a game changer, it opens up so many possibilities! ❤️

Thank you 🤗Good luck! It seems like a good solution for several reasons. Maybe some day I’ll try again.
Dip press-ons remind me of Carole Z. I miss her and hope she is doing well. These did come out gorgeous
Thank you so much. Yes, Carole did some beautiful sets. I hope she is well too.
I loved her videos. Hope she is doing well
Beautiful set!! I'm not into the press-ons at all. I'll stick to just dipping my nails.
Thanks so much! Yeah, I don’t think it’s my jam either. I think I’ll just stick with dipping too.
I agree I will dip my own
