The animation that bothers me is when your character accidentally runs into the crowd and has to apologize for like 5 years then when the person u guard scores, you get defensive breakdown
Or when your player bumps into a coach but he keeps standing in front of you, so in order to not bump him again you have to make a full fucking circle around him but then it's too late cause you get leave assignement note

Also the moving jumpshots, BUMP STEALS, missing layups just cause someone is near you, the steal glitch is still in the game where you steal the ball and they steal it right back, your players can't catch the ball without bobbling or fumbling it for a second to allow the defense to get in position, and the fouls especially the one when you jump behind the guy and it's a auto foul! #FixYoGame2k

You missed a few... • the steal animation where you slap the ball handler rather than reaching for the ball. • when you press square to steal and your player hugs the ball hander. • when you have your hand in the players face and he shoots and the ball bounces in • when you go for a layup and it hits the backboard • when you try to pump fake and he shoots • when you are wide open for an easy shot and he does a fade away • when your player falls on the ground after a layup and then your opponent scores • when you're in the post and go for a shot and the player goes for a contested layup and airballs • when you go for a lob and it goes out of bounds (even with a playmaker)
i was playing 2k17 mycareer, i pulled off a crap noob juke to the rim, slipped my defender with enough room to dunk, got blocked by the guy facing the other way, i watched the reply, the blocker never touched the ball, facing away from me

I think he means when you have the defender beat and somehow the defender glitches in front of you. Or your player just stops driving even tho you have the defender beat. Like your player would get stuck on the defenders arm or something

Number one is so relatable. One time I was down by two in a late game situation, and when I passed it to open deandre jordan, he decides to do a ridiculous windmill dunk which gets blocked and I lose the game. I was so pissed.

the animation where you have the ball wide open right outside the lane near the baseline and you get blocked, because instead of taking a wide open mid range your player takes the biggest step they can and shoot it right at a center.
The box out animation, you are pretty much past the player, like shoulder to shoulder, then they box you out and you teleport behind them into a stuck position in the box out.

LeMagic James no, if you point the right stick forward it's 2 hand dunk. Point it left it's a left hand dunk. Pull it back away from the hoop and it's a flashy dunk
The reason you do fancy dunks and get blocked is because your using square to dunk, using the right stick you have more control over what dunk your myplayer does
The dunk animation can easily be fixed, just dont use the square button, you'll get a random dunk every time. Pull your right analog stick towards the basket for a simple dunk or hold it to the sides for a side tomahawk. People need to stop using the square button, yes its convenient but you have a wide arrange of moves using the right analog.
The worst is when you go up for a layup and then the ball just kinda falls out of your hands and you just jump up while the ball goes out of bounds and the other team gets it😤

that's my biggest pet peeve with this game, i've missed out on so many assists because my teammates can't even hold on to the ball when I pass it to them
Biggest problem with nba period. They need a rework of their motion capturing so its more authentic, make a 6 foot guy go against a 7 foot guy, the animations you'll get will be more realistic.
I agree with #1 totally and it has such an easy fix. 2k could make it so sqaure is the same as the normal dunk (right stick up) and if you want to do a flashy you have to do it manually pulling the stick down.

I have the opposite problem. My players take heavy contested layups instead of open pullups when I try to do a pullup. I hate that this year,if you hold turbo, you can take a layup from near the 3 point line. It cost me so many easy open pullups
One animation u left out bro that's most frustrating to me is when u are in perfect position boxing out for rebound and somehow computer gets the offensive rebound magically lol. Frustrates u when u play great defense and they do it til they score or get fouled
Also, when a player is passed th ball and there’s a defender within 5 feet, the ball automatically goes into the defender’s hands. And also, no one can catch the ball anyway if the pass is 10 feet or further.

You forgot the blatant foul the defense does where you're about to drive past them then, they shove you so you're being forced to stay in front them
