I feel like they get along in real life they’ve said it before but they still do not agree on some aspects of the show so I’m not sure how that would work or what they would talk about
@@princessbea1234i think producers influenced their behaviour a lot. so now they’ll probably believe and think most of the same things now that it’s been over a decade

@@imstrifewhen you listen to Christi talk on her podcast you literally can hear her say the competitions are fake. Melissa says they’re real. They just still have very different perspectives I’m not saying it couldn’t happen… I’m just saying they still do not agree
@@princessbea1234 melissa said it was real but to an extent as not a lot of numbers competed when dance moms was filming so obviously the alec would win/place. either way it’ll be interesting to see them together again
The professional dancer one is quite interesting.
Most competition rules say no professional dancers can compete. However it’s very common (especially in LA, and NY) for competitive dancers to have been paid for work in music videos, commercials, & tv series (occasionally even on Broadway). They can and do still compete.
I’ve been unable to find official rules as to what they’re defining a professional dancer to be, but it seems kids booking occasional jobs is not what they’re getting at.
As for the girls specifically, dance moms would not be considered a professional dance job, since they were actually being paid for their presence as a reality star. But the other things they did (like the music videos) did make them professionals by most definitions.

Hey Melissa! So I’m late to the game. I’m just now watching Dance Moms and I’m on Season 2. I just want to say that I think you are the most genuine Mom of all of them. You and Holly are my favorite Moms. I think you carried yourself very well and you were nice and classy! Just wanted to let you know. Glad all is well and that your girls are thriving. Next question of mine is: Would you and your girls ever be up to having your own reality show? Like The Kardashians or even like Real Housewives? That'd be pretty cool. In my humble opinion. ❤
That's an interesting question and it would be cute to hear an answer from Melissa, even if she already stated several times that she regrets being on TV and would never go back on TV, but I mean who knows if she has changed

How did the producers decide what content to put forward? Also were the moms or Abby involved in the decision making process? Also I hated how they portrayed Maddie because she seems very sweet and down to earth on youtube

Hi Melissa. I really love watching your videos. I wished they were a tad bit longer though and a few more questions were answered. Most of us Dance Moms viewers/fans often remember every single little thing that happened in each episode of each season. It's interesting that most of the Dance Moms and girls don't remember a whole lot of what happened. To us, it's like it happened last week but, it has been more than 10 years since it very started. I don't remember everything from 10 or 12 years ago myself so, in all fairness, we can't expect the cast to remember but sure wished they could. Lol. It would definitely make the reminiscence so much more grand. 😂 But, then again, there are some things about what happened on that show that I'd much rather forget too! I'm not sure how to get a question answered from you and I don't do much social media. I'm in my mid 40's and not really so tech savvy either. But my questions are: Are Maddie and Kenzie going to address, publicly, or makeva statement on why they didn't do the Reunion show? Lord knows they don't have to address it but it has been a hot topic lately. My second question is: Has Abby Miller tried reaching out to you or any of the other moms or M& M in the last few years or at all? Wondering if she ever has any regrets on how she treated the girls. All the girls. Watching the show, the disrespect to the girls and moms was horrible. I hope you continue with your youtube videos. My question is: At the time, did the girls enjoy being filmed for Dance Moms or were there times they wished the cameras weren't there? During the dance class sessions, they seemed to act pretty natural and not distracted by the cameras, but was just curious how they felt about being filmed.
