Top Shaw Brothers director Cheng Kang helms this star studded gambling action film from Taiwan. Mr. Miyamoto, a big Japanese entrepreneur, was playing with a high stakes game vs the Shanghai tycoon Chairman Mr. Pang, the pot was worth US$ 5 million. Many players supported Mr. Pang and thought that Mr. Pang would win. However Mr. Miyamoto won and took away the Prize pot money. Afterwards, Pang became bankrupt. Mr. Miyamoto is the original con man ‘faker’ and his win aroused the suspicions of the noted Sha family, China's most noted family of card sharks. They discovered that Minamoto did in fact cheated and together they formed a plan to help Mr. Pang and win his $5 million back.
