Georgia based rapper, Cymple Man, has released his new single and music video for "Blue Jeanie" online. The song is the latest single from Cymple Man's upcoming new album "Been It” set to release August 6th via Dirt Rock Empire. The video was directed by Breadwin Deville and showcases Cymple Man's wordplay, cadence mixed with his storytelling, as he parodies a redneck version of Aladdin.
"I think my fans understand the range and styles that I am capable of. Anyone that is a fan of the comical/fun side of my music with songs like 'White Trash Fresh' and 'Ricky Bobby' will dig 'Blue Jeanie'," said Cymple Man. "I like to have fun and make goofy videos, and in this one we went completely over the top. We painted Cap in full blue body paint to play the Jeanie and it turned out hilarious."
"Been It” is the follow-up to Cymple Man's 2018 debut solo album "Higgs Field" and spotlights his unique rhyming ability and wordplay as he graduates from the school of hip-hop. Joining Cymple Man on his journey into the rap mythos are fellow Dirt Rock brethren The Lacs, Hard Target, Dusty Leigh and Overtime. The production for the album was completed by Wess Nyle.
"I would put this project up against anyone else in the history of Country Rap and I stand by it as a solid Hip Hop album. It may not be Nas’s ‘Illmatic’, or Dr. Dre’s ‘Chronic’, but it’s some of my best work and I'll put it up line for line, bar for bar against anybody," added Cymple Man. "If anyone out there appreciates the art of wordplay, cadence, storytelling and just real rap in general then this one's for you. I don’t care if you're a Country Rap fan, a Juggalo, or just a hip-hop head; there is something for everybody."
Born and raised in small Pierce County, GA; Dustin “Dusty” Bennett (his last name inspiring the album title) adopted the moniker of Cymple Man because he is a man of the people. His music is the soundtrack of regular 9-5 blue collar workers who want to crack a cold one and let loose after a long hard day. In the early 2000’s, Cymple Man had a dream come true when he worked in the same Atlanta studio that Outkast had recorded in, and then in 2016 he joined forces with country superstars The Lacs along with Hard Target and Wess Nyle to form the new country rap supergroup Racket County. The group would go on to produce tracks with a combined over 5 million views on UA-cam, proving them a force to be reckoned with in the scene. After being consistently part of a group, Cymple Man broke out and debuted his solo career with "Higgs Field". The album spawned the viral hit "WTF", which has since generated nearly 500,000 Spotify streams. The video, which hilariously depicts a keg party inside a laundromat, has almost 400,000 views. The album also shined a light on Cymple Man's unique rhyming ability and his wordplay that makes him a true student of the school of hip-hop.
