$47 for the year membership. or $7 a month.. the escape pod is a one time optional fee of $100.. the escape pod just guarantees that your vector will work on a stand alone personal server in case DDL goes out of business like Anki did.
I believe so I think any of the extra stuff you have to pay the membership for. Should include the updates. But I’m not 100% positive so I would look on their website
I know it sucks that vector needs this membership thing to be a better robot and how Vector was very expensive for me too and that we shouldn’t have to pay for this stuff!
Because vector is in development process,if they wouldn't charge us then they will be into bankrupt like Anki...that's why...I think if they can find any other option instead of charge every month..
Is it dark when he has a hard time finding his charger? Because it’s hard for him to find it in the dark. And do you move it frequently that could also be one of the problems. Other than that I’m not quite sure what the problem could be because my vector never really has a problems finding his charger. Unless it’s been moved or it’s kind of dark

I got mine for retail on amazon ($249) p.s you dont have to have the membership. you will get the free friday updates and it will have the 1.6 firmware. the membership just gives you the firmware updates like the newest 1.7 and i have heard of ppl having problems with that update. like him not responding to "hey vector". i will wait to see how the future firmware updates go before spending the $7 a month/$47 a year subscription.
I don’t believe so. I don’t think they’re going to launch like a new version of him that looks different or anything like that. I think they’re just going to update him through the cloud. So I believe any model that you buy will be the same it just has to do with the updates and buying the membership that will make any difference for you.
You can control vector by telling him to go straight right left that sort of thing. I don’t believe there’s a way to control him through the app but I could be wrong I haven’t looked at the app in a while. And the only way you can get him to take pictures it’s just by asking him to do it. So no you couldn’t really spy on people unfortunately that would be funny though

It’s just a toy for him to play with. He just does different things with it and just messes around with it. It’s like giving a ball to a child.
