The bicycle sized chain is a weak spot, it is just to small for the task..i broke the lifting chain on mine a couple of times, and swapped it for a heavier moped 420 chain. Cool modification with the electric winch, i like it ! Looks like It gives you more ground clearance than with the normal chain and lift handle when the plow is lifted up. Happy New Year !
Hi! Yes plenty of snow this year! It is a bit hard to navigate close to cars as the plow doesn’t really turn the way you expect due to the rear steering! Can be a bit exciting sometimes! Happy New Year!
@NilsKall Have you ever thought of making a snow cab for it, or maybe adapting a snow cabin made for a snowblower ? We got quite a bit of snow here in the northern part of denmark, and once again i was out pushing snow with my old rider..all while it was still snowing outside. I got the idea years ago, and found some metal tent poles and bend them into shape, but i never got to making the canvas for it.
I think a cab will take away some of the nimble handling. If you are using it in really bad conditions then maybe it could be a good idea but I prefer a warm overall (skoteroverall) warm boots and good gloves. It could be a cool project to try for UA-cam so maybe I will make one some day. If I put a snowblower on the rider I might have more use of a cab? I have seen some cheap ATV cabs that could be adopted for the task.

Hi! Good idea about the chain, it is a bit weak! The winch actually works great, I think I will keep it during the summer too! Happy New Year!
Hey you have snow we do not looks like you came pretty close to that car good video Nils.

Looks good , should work and last a while .
I hope so! My daughter tried it yesterday and because of the winch she could lift and lower the plow without any problems.
