Why does this defense lady keep asking about drugs? It doesnt matter, shes deceased, she was a teen. Shes not on trial, and it has nothing to do with your client killing and dumping her body. Her line of questioning is ticking me off, and gonna upset the jury.

This is another example of how the wrong person slips through and is chosen to be a cop. Too many times this happens and their power and knowledge is used to abuse the justice system instead of using their power to protect the people. I don't know the hiring process to be a police officer, but I think that extensive background searches should be conducted, including how a person's childhood was, their grades in high school/college, their relationships with others, maybe even constant monitoring of how a person conducts their everyday life to factor into their character and qualifications for the job.
More bad cops are hired than good. When I say bad, I don’t mean flat out criminals or psychopaths, but definitely persons not mentally/healthily/intellectually fit to handle the day to day situations and responsibilities of a “law enforcement” officer.
Man, this shows you how deeply first responders are affected by what they do. And they do this for YEARS…. That’s why there’s a higher risk of suicide in first responders. They deserve our respect for willingly doing this for less pay than they deserve. It breaks my heart.
