We moved to Hamburg two months ago and this film was originally scheduled for that period of time. However as you all know the Corona virus had a massive impact on the global aviation industry and we decided to postpone this film a bit and instead made the films #unitedbywings and the KLM and Germanwings tribute. Also we used that peroid of time to improve this film by adding footage we shot during these two months. E.g. the ANA A380, Atlas 747, German government A350 and the Royal Air Maroc 747 which was converted to a VIP 747 by Lufthansa Technik here in Hamburg and is now the governmental aircraft of Morocco.
We began and ended our film with cinematic footage from Hamburgs harbour and the Elbphilharmonie shot on our Ronin S from a ferry on the river Elbe. As Hamburg has two airports, one for passengers and the other one for the Airbus factory, we decided to make two airport maps you know already from our homebase film abour Hanover. The traffic at Finkenwerder airport is truely special as you see unpainted aircraft, rejected takeoffs for testing brakes and reverse thrust and short haul aircraft from all over the globe for which you normally have to visit the corresponding country.

Thank you. The Philippines A321neo is produced in an Airbus factory in Hamburg, it does a few test flights after assembly before being delivered to the customer

Especially seeing an A321Neo doing a rejected Take off and a PAL 321Neo. Just really Amazing!
Thank you very much! Every A320 family aircraft does two RTOs, one with max reverse thrust and one with max braking. Only after passing these two RTO test they are allowed to take off for the first flight. ~ Ole ✈

Aviation isn‘t just getting on a plane and fly somewhere, aviation is a passion. Nearly four years ago, in summer 2016, I flew to Florida with Delta‘s beautiful 767 and since this day, aviation is a part of my life. Before that day it wasn‘t really interesting for me and I didn‘t even know that there are adifferences between the airplanes. An airplane was just an airplane for me. But when I was sitting in this 767, everything changed. I heard those engines and when the plane took off, I felt free. Today I‘m 14 years old, my room is full of models and self taken pictures of airplanes and I very often go to the airport to take more pictures. I‘m very lucky because I could fly with the A380 two times, first with Thai‘s A380 to Bangkok, and last year with Lufthansa to Miami. Many people think I‘m crazy because I‘m a 14 year old girl with a room full of aviation stuff, but I‘m proud of it, because aviation is my passion.✈️💞 Sorry for my veeeery bad english 😂😂

3:45 I spot an Indigo airline a320...never knew this low-fare indian airline fly to hamburg too!!
Indigo does not fly to Hamburg. That video was shot at the Hamburg Finkenwerder Airbus plant where some A320s and all A321s are built. Sometimes you see some Indigo aircraft flying too but those are testflights, not regular passenger flights. ~ Ole ✈️

Wir planen ein post Corona Video, in das wir alle Airlines und Flieger inkludieren, die ausgeflottet/pleite gegangen sind. Wir würden sehr gerne etwas über SAA machen, aber wir wissen nicht einmal ob wir überhaupt ein Video haben, das wir ins Video packen können... Ärgert uns selbst auch total, aber wir müssen schauen ob wir das finden oder das Video evtl als collab machen. ~ Ole ✈
