I'm guilty, too. I bought mine around 20 years ago. They are still as sharp today as when I bought them. I really like the bread knife, it cuts through very crusty bread with no problem.
I bought these for my mom 17 years ago when drunk one night in college. It came with 2 all purpose slicers. I proceeded to cut everything in my apartment in half with it. They really do stay sharp. My mom still has them.
It's stolen. Ron popeil did it first. Watch his video I think it was called showtime six star knives. Watch it and pay attention to the words. Its the exact same as here. The bread scene, tomato, filings, it's all the same dialogue stolen. Watch and you'll see.
Often times, less is more, whereas the Showtime knives have 25 pieces, most of the people only use 25% of the kit, this has 11 pieces, the necessary essentials.
i used to watch this on JML when i was growing up with my nana 🥺 i still remember everything! chef tony, the wasted food, the price, the free set, i wanted one so bad lmao 😭
I half-heartedly purchased this set in 2009. it's now 2020. We use most of them daily and they're unbelievably still in great condition. The only ones that broke after a few years were the steak knives and never really got to use the sharpener. hope when these give in can still find these. see a lot of knock offs being sold online but pretty sure they're not as good as these
0:48, 1:47 this is it, this is the commercial that inspired Fruit Ninja, one of the most popular mobile games ever. it's pretty surreal seeing this after playing Fruit Ninja to death as a kid, and to find this out now after watching Luke Muscat's video is so cool :)
Hey Infomercialman1, I take back all my negative comments about the MB3. I bought a set and they really are incredibly sharp. I am really happy with them.
I bought a set in 2004 in one of those "As Seen on TV" stores, and they still work fine to this day. A small spot of rust here and there but that's it. The shears aren't the greatest, but the steak knives get the most use and we love them for cutting pork chops.
Dude me and my cousin used to fight over the knives on which ine will be the better than the other, man good memories, theres also a pan version of this if i remember This is my fav channel we used to fricking try to find it wheneve were bored or hungry
It's actually a very good knife set. Except the chop n scoop and rock n chop can be replaced by a standard chefs knife. I still own the slicer, steak knives, and shears. They are still sharp and cut well.
@Infomercialman1 It is a spectacular facility, modern and new, but added on to an old French Castle which is treated as a museum and is also seen in the Open of the show. We shot there the second week of June, 2001. All the students shown were attending the school and studying to be chefs. They came from all over the world. The Opening shot of Tony with the Eiffel Tower in the background was obviously shot in Paris.
Please can someone help me? I’ve been looking for an episode of tv shopping where the product is an equipment where you can change its head and it can be a potato dicer, slicer, peeler and it can also be a snow cone maker depending on what you attach to its body. I’ve been looking for it for years I can’t seem to find it :((((
For those of us who grew up without cable or Internet, these types of infomercials were a great part of entertainment.
I bought the set about 10 years ago and still use them regularly.
are they still "as sharp as when you bought them"? i really wanna know
Christian Oldenborg Every Knife gets dull over the time. Stuff like "stays sharp forever" doesn't exist.

Me and my friends used to stay up late and flip through all the channels to find this infomercial
We bought a set in 2004. They still rock nearly a decade later, especially the steak knives.
I only just replaced my steak knives. Not sure how old I was when my parent bought them.
My Stepdad Will Get This Ones.
This is a part of my childhood.
But wait, I have 7 more knives for you!! The crowd goes wild, hilarious!!
Lol dude I like these shows
Man what a nostalgia boost. I remember watching infomercials on lazy days during summer break.
Tony had an amazing sales pitch

@@CaptainPupu you've ruined my childhood, but at the cost of enlightenment. Thank you Captain Poop, for I salute you.

@@CaptainPupu I noticed, not sure who ripped who off. But yeah almost word for word.
Fun fact: There is an italian dub of this ad in Italy and still today it's a very famous meme in Italy
È ancora famoso? Perché è da un po' che non lo vedo...
Come piace a mia madre
The date is 10/23/2021. 1:15 AM, EST. I found this for the first time. These are truly badass knives lol
In italian sounds even better LOL... I used to watch it everytime i was eating after school...such memories.
childhood memories XD hahahaha
John Gabriel Penaverde Glad I'm not the only one. XD
same curious if these things held up?
@@ArronP nice
funny thing is that this is valid for the whole world :D

Hi,
Great to hear that you've enjoyed your Miracle Blade knives for so long. :-)
6:21 in all fairness, Chef Tony makes this look so easy. That is years and years of practice.
It is easy. No one needs years of practice for this, lol.
0:48, 1:47 this is it, this is the commercial that inspired Fruit Ninja, one of the most popular mobile games ever. it's pretty surreal seeing this after playing Fruit Ninja to death as a kid, and to find this out now after watching Luke Muscat's video is so cool :)

I still have those knives to this day
Chef Tony could sell ice to me in the middle of a snowstorm. He could sell sand to me in the middle of a desert. He’s that good at what he does.
It's actually a very good knife set. Except the chop n scoop and rock n chop can be replaced by a standard chefs knife. I still own the slicer, steak knives, and shears. They are still sharp and cut well.
The 4 bonus steak knifes are the best part of this set IMO. I still use the extra slicer knife as a garden machette. :)
11+ years old. Great upload.

Yeah, my set came today and they are scarily sharp. It did cut straight through a pineapple.
I always love the voice over narrator !! He has done others too
My mom actually has the all-purpose slicer. It still holds up, even to this day.
I bought these at Canadian tire the other day. Set of ten for $19.99, I figured I couldn't beat that and you get a variety
The Rock and Chop blade is actually pretty good!
love crashing out to infomercials
Cool demonstration
About knives, does anyone remember the TITANIUM II knives infomercial? I'd die to see a recording of that one.
Chef Tony is a BOSS! ;)
I got an ad for knives before I could watch this ad for knives and very briefly questioned what I'm doing with my life. I got over it tho
Ginsu 2000 Vs Miracle Blade III - The Battle Of The Century.

How do you feel now that it's been ten whole years since you wrote this comment?
Wow, I want a set...
Please someone tell me if chef Tony is still alive. I need to know.
He is, I think.
I am very much alive. I have retired from commercials. Thanks for asking!
-"Che" Tony
Love your work chef Tony
have these for like 14 years or so, the chop and scoop broke in half after about 8 years later.....they replaced it no problem at all.
Fun fact, this is where the idea of fruit ninja came from.
I owned these!
Favorite movie as a child 🤣
Ive ran a professional kitchen for 30 years with these knives, and never sharpened them.
22 years later and mine are as sharpe as the day i bought them…..
Gave my old roommate two of the knives
Do they teach in english there? Or only in french?
That butcher knife is awesome 10 out of 10 and i want that flexible knife and the whole set!!!!!!!
Proprio come piace a mia madre
La sfera di controllo AccuGrip
nostalgia
In Italy this became a minor meme!
Fa un po’ strano sentirlo in inglese essendo abituati al doppiaggio italiano! Non so dire per ora quale sia meglio!
Lol
Where can I order these blades👍
Hi MrRednexus. You can order from our website: www.miracleblade.com/
Bought these blades in 2008 and they are still chopping.
I use the chopping knife a lot
from HSN airing back then
Fruit Ninja?
Basically, yeah.
I Love That Game!
Dude @ 1:20 looks like a goodfella........lol
I bet his name is Paulie lol
You better watch it or you'll be wearing cement shoes!
Did you ever get so nostalgic that you watched old 90s informercials? Yeah, me neither...
I do,im a nerd
😁 i just remember that im not a child anymore!
@JulE0n Never underestimate the Miracle Blade.
It is amazing.
Some of this is word for word fro Ron Popeil's knife ads.
@@ArronP no shit... wow
Look! Watch! Listen! Look!
I still have those to this day they were worth it lol
E lo credo bene
That was awesome the butcher knife 100 out of 100
this is what inspired fruit ninja btw lol
Lol my mother has that set yet still here in 2022
the question is... did the french understand all that?
?
I bought the chop and scoop at goodwill because I thought it was a dough scraper.
I have those knifes trust ppl they work I thought it was bullshit but they do work the cut perfectly
Watch this at 1.75x speed
2003.
one of these ads inspired fruit ninja
"I've been designing and selling knives for over 20 years" Sooo....He's not really 'CHEF' Tony....
I bought a set, and they work. But just a bunch of over-priced Ginzu knives.
I bought these knives in 2007. I still use them to this day
Ha ha ha XD FUNNY!
