In 2023 it is easy to think that we have progressed past the need for worship and for idols, but what if you still do worship someone or something? What if there are idols in your life that you don't realize that you've built up? Hey Tarinia! Great question. I often find that discerning God’s voice can begin by confirming what you’re hearing through what you’ll also read in God’s word. The same Holy Spirit who may be speaking to you also authored Scripture. Secondly, I would seek godly counsel from others around regarding what you’re hearing. There is wisdom in the community Proverbs tells us and they might help you discern whether it’s God voice or not. lastly, prayer continues to be a strong source of help. The more time we give in prayer sometimes, not always, the more clear it might get
