1959 July August Enjoyed my training as deck boy my home town was Liverpool which i sailed out many times for 6yrs until i had leave the sea to get married i loved everyday of it still miss thosedays
Very enjoyable vindialan. I was on Vindi Feb-April 66 on Deck afore the lights were turned out forever. I did 10 ships in the Merch so a good chance I sailed with one or two of you. How those lovely ladies in the photo's ever put up with us I'll never know! God bless them all. Right at the end you show Colin Rodgers and Pauline...I met Colin at a Vindi Reunion in Sharpness on a trip over from Canada a few years ago. He told me about 3 books he had written. I bought and read all three, so it was nice to see a picture of Pauline, the love of his life, who he spoke of so often that I saw in your presentation. Hey look at the "Vindi News" November 2015 edition. "Russian Respect For Vindicatrix" which Roy Derham, bless him, decided to put on the front page. That's my article.
