For those of you who claim the US doesn't have bases and possession/ownership of oil fields, Poppy Fields and other precious materials (Uranium, Cobalt, Diamonds, Gold, Silicone mines) They don't need possession, they effectively control where it goes, who gets it and can even manipulate trade to make it worthless unless the US gets what it wants in forced agreements.
