For sure. San fran area has colder water and perfect for bass. Not sure how they migrat but east is delaware to rhode island. Is a very big game Fish here
@@rickwu6005 we are actually seeing some really interesting migrations going on here. Historically, the stripers have gone from the san Francisco bay and delta to the ocean and back, with smaller populations in the Monterey Bay. This last year, people started catching them all the way down in San Diego, and catches on the central coast are becoming more and more common. Very interesting but worrisome considering they are non native
Yeah agree. Is interesting to see both west and east has stripe bass same specie. Do ur bass go up to alaska? The best part weat coast has salmon. I rather claim salmon over bass
@@rickwu6005 our bass do not go up to alaska (thankfully). They dont go too far north of the San Francisco bay as far as I know. Populations north of sf bay are smaller too
aren't the stripers making their way into the bay and delta this time of year? I see Adam is in waders. I've been giving him a hard time about geting a pair
Congratulations. I was under the impression that the stripers are up Rio Vista and Pittsburg. But what do I know? Are there Stripers in Pacifica and Ocean Beach year round?
Thanks! Most stripers have headed up the rivers. This video was filmed during summer, just been very busy with school and finally got around to editing it. Best shot for stripers now is bay or delta
All the stripers went south 😂, we’re finally catching here in SoCal with some regularity now 🍻
I know!! I need them to come back 😅
Damn those were some nice stripers! 100+ casts putting In hours makes it all worth it
You know it! Feels even better after a long grind
Some nice west coast stripers. Enjoyed the video man. I subscribed to your channel for further content. Tight lines and keep them coming.
Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for subscribing! Tight lines
Perfect specimen!! 🎣
Thanks prince!

thatts cool. our easy coast stripe bass is very popular here. cool to see ssan fran has some on surf
We’ve had some for over half a century now! They were introduced a long time ago and their population boomed, peaking in the 60’s
