Thank you for this great video, it is very nice learning from you! :) I did everything the way you explained but something doesn't work: when I rotate the petals: to me the petals are see through and do not cover the previous petals. Can you please help what to do in such case? It looks strange this way. Thank you!

Nice, but the 9th petal lies upon two petals and the others don't.
I alway make the last petal goes under the first too.
That is only a bit more work.

while drawing a 1st line from the top corner of the canvas i ma not able to get blue corss line pressing ctrl key.....how could i get it...

Make sure your "Guides" are showing. Go to View > Guides > Show Guides,
or press the Ctr and semicolon [ ; ] keys on your keyboard. Hope this helps.
