Thank you so much for the beautiful walk!😊❤
So beautiful, I remember when I first started watching your videos, it was a similar snow scene with a crunching under your feet. Love and blessings to the horses and to you and family.❤❤❤
Thank you!! Yes, I do seem to have a lot of winter snowy videos, it's pretty cool.
I’m so very sorry to hear about Zeus. 😔 I am sorry for your loss. 💐
Lol you have to have good memory for finding that shovel under all that snow! Like needle in a haystack / shovel treasure hunt 😂 Thats so much more snow than we got here in Edmonton, its more ice and blowing snow lately on roads. The forest is so cool your paths are well loved and travelled by the resident wildlife 🐾
You have a beautiful place. Beautiful horses, and a beautiful family
I ca still see Zeus running around in the snow. Lots of snow there, 84 degrees for the high today in East Texas. Love seeing the 4-legged fur babies.
That walk through the trail was special. Thank you. I remember Zeus could fly through that snow! When you did get snow.
He was always faster than me up to a point, so much fun.
Ohhh, Graeme, you're spoiling us with these videos again! 🙌
I jumped on that Gator with you so fast... Let's go feed these beauties.
You literally have an enchanted winter wonderland!
I do love how much you appreciate the beauty and wonder around you. From the way the trees have grown to appreciating ALL of the wildlife.
Stunningly beautiful ❤ it's amazing how well nature gets on with recovery after bad weather.
Thank you so much for this snowy walk in your enchanted forest 😊, it almost felt like being there ! So so beautiful, almost unreal and cool to witness the pathways of its animal inhabitants. But of course when you have to take care of horses in these conditions on a property this also becomes a major problem ...
Great workout 💪
Wow, I do not know how you cope with all that snow. All that shovelling must be a nightmare! I am so greateful to live in a part of Australia that never sees snow. It is a very pretty sight though!🥰
WOW!! I feel for you. A lot of work for sure. We have had pretty easy winters here for the last couple years (in the north east).. but in the past we had some back breaking snows to shovel. Your snow sounded like a heavy snow the way it crunched when you walked on it. Sue is pretty with all the tree coverage. Will your babies like to play in the deep snow? Hope you get some good rest . Take care of you & your family & all your horses.❤❤
Love the sound of snow crunch under your boots. The colder the snow, the higher the crunch(?). Table great for measuring snow depth.
Great for the water table.
You are correct. It gets really crunchy.
What a beautiful sight….so much snow it really does look like an enchanted forest…..
I hate snow. But it sure is beautiful to look at. Good luck 🤎
It's a regular winter wonderland. So so pretty!
I hope the snow will last forever so that you continue to post one video per day 😉
That’s a good one 😂
So much snow!! The forest paths are looking magical. What a huge project digging out from under all that white stuff. You will be exhausted after doing all that!
I live 45 minutes east of Stable…closer to the mountains (Abbotsford) and we have - hardly any snow! Lots of strong winds while Vancouver got the snow. But a little colder here, just a little. It’s a part of Canada that doesn’t do well with snow and cold!
So nice to see snow, i remember it valling in my neck and stuff , it all looks familiar but we havent had snow in this part of the world for years..
Wow! A lot of snow!! Thank you for taking us with you😊 I really enjoyed it😊😊 So much work on the farm! Thank you for all the hard work you do😊😊 I loved the walk in the forest!! So pretty😁
You're not complaining, simply stating facts about the work involved. That snow is heavy and please make sure to take breaks when you are hand shoveling. That thick carpet of snow will also help keep the cold down quite a bit, which will help protect the roots of all those beautiful trees and vegetation. Glad you were able to enjoy the beauty of it all before the hard labor began.
We've got lots of snow here in Ontario (and lots of ice and frozen slush too!) but I think we're more prone to heavy snowfall, especially in the southern part of the province along the Great Lakes like I am. Do your horses enjoy the big snowfalls and do they still go out in it if it isn't coming down? I wonder what they would think if you built a snowman in the arena for them!😂
Hi there ,the snow is very nice.take care every one.thanks for sharing.❤😊
It looks magical. I don’t mind the snow, what always caused the problems is the bitter cold and wind.
Wow! You got quite the dump of snow. We got about 8 inches or so. This was the only thing I don’t miss about having a horse, cleaning all the poops when things start melting after a few days. And this cold snap is hanging around for a few more days ugh! Feel bad for you Graeme, lots of work ahead for you 😔
Looks like a heavy snow. Wouldn't mind it heading down my way, but just not as heavy. Take care.
So beautiful🎉❄️ you haven't had such heavy snow recently! Amazing! And so is the amount of work.. Horses will enjoy playing in the snow!! In France ski stations have been missing snow for years or very little at high altitude but there are so many other things one can enjoy in the mountains! Glaciers of the world are melting..
I saw the short of you clearing snow yesterday, looks beautiful but adds to the work. Things always seem to go wrong when life is a little harder but you'll get there. You're not complaining it's just saying it as it is and you have the horses to talk to whilst you're working, that must help a little bit
It sure looks beautiful though, and the quiet it brings is so peaceful.
Well done indeed for persevering! Like you say, just get on with it. Fascinating to see the beautiful forest all disguised by the weight of the snow. Thanks for another great video! 👏👏👏
Oh my so much snow, winter wonderland ❄
Thanks for sharing the snowmaggeden. Lovely to look at. The inch-ish we got here in Texas earlier this winter just shut everything down. No equipment or infrastructure to deal with it. Glad the tire bead held! Celebrate even the small wins.
Thanks for taking us around the winter wonderland. We haven’t had any snow all year where I am, and I miss it. Still going to try and keep talking you into some Christmas lights on those trees in the back 40. They have solar powered ones. No need for electricity. 😊 lights on those “Whoville” trees would be awesome.
So pretty 😊
Thank you ❤
This is so beautiful yer so much hard work! Willow trees have such shallow toots (my understanding). I hope you don’t lose them. Can’t thank you enough for taking us along for a walking tour through fairyland, and be careful cleaning things out. You always take a phone or Apple Watch with you to contact someone just in case… right?
So weird when you stopped in. The Forrest cause you heard something I’m sure I saw zuess behind you in spirit x
Beautiful winter wonderland!
I know it’s a lot of work, but estimate yourself lucky that you still have some snow ⛄️ We had nothing here in northern Germany throughout the entire winter. We had negative temperatures for a few days, that’s all.
So beautiful ❤. I know it is a pain to try to work in though.
Used to get a lot more snow here years ago but expecting snow tonight, don't know yet how much is expected but... temps expected to be 40 plus Fahrenheit (3 or 4 C ?) tomorrow? with luck and calcium chloride I might not have to shovel... stay safe and warm everybody
Now they're saying high 30's for tomorrow... hope it's still warm enough long enough for the snow to disappear all on its own...
Wow it’s so beautiful
Wow, you guys got heavy and wet snow.
😊❤
Wow! So much snow! Maybe you've already done a video on this but what do you do about the snow pack or snowballs that build up under horses feet that causes them to basically not be able to actually walk on their feet but walk on the pack instead? I hope I explained that ok. Thanks.
Nothing unless it's extreme, which is highly unusual. That almost always happens with horses that are shod and literally and willingly incapacitated by the humans they expect to care for them. You'll see in an upcoming video (already taken, just need to edit) that none of my horses have any trouble running around in the snow and I've done nothing to their feet. Healthy feet are warm and defrost off that stuff no problem. Unhealthy feet (mostly shod feet that can't do anything as they have a large piece of metal nailed to them) stay cold and the ice just stays on. The horse can't move, which is the primary removing method of a horse, and as such it just gets worse. A horse that can move around will just kick those things off if they build up a little bit, it's a non issue.
A follow up if I May. Since my Mustang mare got a lot of snow pack on her should I have them move around more? They are in a 3 acre pasture so have plenty of room to move. Just curious. Thank you for all your videos and wonderful education 😊
Gorgeous but nightmare, please please do a horsey play time in this now now it’s deep xxx
Nothing falls on you
Maybe I have missed this in the past
But .. what do you do there exactly? I mean besides all the hard work just to keep it going and taken care of. Like do you teach lessons using the horses, is that the main business? Just curious .. share if you want. Might make a good video too. ❤
I care for rescued horses, bring awareness to the wild ones while personally and actively helping in the cause, make videos to raise the population of the planet that can know about this and possibly help while teaching horsemanship and horse husbandry to anybody that will listen :)
It's really pretty but once or twice a year is enough for me
Beautiful though
