- In this video I show how you can add and rearrange fields to a workspace form without having to use UI Builder. Don't put off making small tweaks to your workspaces if you thought you needed to make those with UI Builder. #servicenow #workspace #ux #userexperience #administration #admin
Hey Justin , it was very easy to understand. thank you for this video 🙂
You're very welcome!
How can we expose the incident default view in workspace ? I just need the same default view to become visible in the workspace.
How can i update the form layout and order of related lists in csm/FSM configurable workspace. Thanks in advance
Hello Justin. Thank you for this video. It hopefully is leading me down the right path. I need to update the field attributes (Mandator, Read Only, Visible) in the Change Management forms in SOW. My UI Policies/Actions are not being applied to all of the fields in SOW like they are in the Platform UI. Can you lead me down the right path? Thank you
Hi how do I add contextual search results? I have added it from the form layout but it is not showing on the service operations workspace.
Hi Justin,
I want to add a custom tab inside Incident detail page in Service Operations Workspace like the one "Investigation".
My goal is to have a custom tab where I want to have my own javascript code injected by Macro & Formatter to show some custom UI.
How to highlight the tickets based on the priority with color in the list view of servicenow workspace
Please do reply for this I dint even find the proper solution for this in servicenow community
Hi Justin, the details tab for the incident record right after the "overview" tab is not loading on my SOW workspace, does there need to be a tab called "Details" in the incident view for the Service Operations Workspace?
Hi Ricky - first thank you for watching! I've never seen a missing "details" tab. The OOTB (unmodified) workspace should have that tab. The first thing that comes to mind is either permissions or caching issues. I would double-check that the user your accessing the workspace in has the "itil" and "workspace_user" roles. If that all checks out I would try clearing the instance and your local browser cache. If none of that works maybe try a repair on the plug-in / application? The last one is a kind of a last resort but one of the many steps I might try when troubleshooting.
How do i remove the priority field from the highlighted and activity log?
Thank you for watching! Depending on your version and workspace, there's a funnel icon (filter) above the activity log. If you click that you should have a dropdown for Fields and then can unselect Priority.
@@JustinMeadows thank you!
Hi again! I cant seem to figure out how to remove it from the highlighted details section on the details tab when i go to all issues. I need the priority field to be completely gone. Can you please assist? Also im on the compliance workspace.
And is there a reason why there are two of everything in the lists nav? Or does this automatically do it when creating a new workspace?
