Junkies terrorize Chainda

Some residents of Lusaka's Chainda compound have called on the police to conduct regular operations in the area, in order to curb the influx of criminal gangs known as Junkies.
The call comes after police arrested 28 people in an anti-crime operation conducted Chainda and Ibex Meanwood areas.
And some residents have told ZNBC news that criminal activities are rife in the areas and that regular patrols are needed.
They have commended Police for conducting an operation to curb the increase of criminal gangs in the area.
And Police Deputy Spokesperson, DANNY MWALE says anti crime operations will continue in various residential areas in Lusaka.
Mr MWALE has appealed to residents to work with the Police in curbing crime in Communities.
