- HELLO everyone! Welcome to a realistic day in my life working in tech! I have worked in tech for just about 10 years and have personally had a really great experience, and I wanted to share what my day typically looks like with you! From tech startups, to mid size companies to big tech, I have worked across all different sized organizations and have always found this industry really fun and engaging!
In this video I'll walk you through what my typical day looks like working remote in tech, what I do in my hybrid role as a product manager and marketing manager, along with a bunch of other little fun nuggets throughout my day.
Working remotely or working from home can be tough but when I have watched videos like this I definitely feel part of a little community, and I wanted to do the same!! Shout out to all of the other tech girlies :)

My team is one hour ahead of me and I absolutely despise logging on and hitting the ground running 😂 but it's nice at the end of the day when everyone is offline and I can ease out of my day. 😊 the background of the city is beautiful. My team gets to look at my basement wall 😂😂 I hate giving presentations too. It usually is never as bad as you think it's going to be. ❤
Totally agree about the presentations!! I feel like I always make them way more nerve wracking than they need to be in my head, and in the end they end up being slightly easier than I thought ☺ Glad I'm not alone in that!!

Loved this video! I am now a new subscriber. I work in supply chain management and my days are very meeting heavy as well. I over prepare for presentations and they are always easier than I anticipate.

Terrific video!! Very comprehensive and super interesting! Thanks so much! I’m a psychologist and I still don’t love public speaking at conferences presenting research but I’m much more relaxed once I get going! I think being as prepared as possible is the best strategy! For me there can be a fine line between being Uber prepared and so ridiculously prepared I almost forget what I want to say! lol! I have learned where to stop and know I’m ready to roll! I am trying to add makeup and getting dressed to my day but it is so hard at times. But this gave me inspiration to get better at it. For sure though I need to extend my comfy but cute pant wardrobe.
I am right there with you!! It is soo tough to maintain when you work from home! There are definitely some days that I just do not have it in me to put on makeup/get dressed and I try to give myself a little break on those days too :)

Hi! On less busy days I love going on a walk during my afternoon break! Whether it's to grab my lunch or pick up a coffee it's nice to give myself a middle of the day screen time break and get outside :)
