People used to complain about Simone being pitchy in the past, but literally every performance I've seen from her from the past year has been flawless.
Yeah, she is amazing now. I mena, she always was of course, but the difference is visible. And it's not just past year, It's past four years at least. She grown up in every case, not just in singing, but also motion along the stage, comunication with audience.....everything. She realy enjoys the shows now and believes herself more, so she owns the stage. I think everyone, who sayes something against her now, is simply a liar. :)
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this stunning performance!! This song always brings me to tears with how powerful and hopeful it is! It is nevertheless a pretty difficult song to sing that requires great breath support and only gives a few miliseconds to catch a breath and Simone nailed it gracefully!
