Oh my...I don't even know how to feel after that. Brilliant song choice, it fits the story you were telling so nicely. You really showcased the complicated complexities of their siblingship. Such an amazing vid, I love it! 🖤
Omg yes!!! 😍 This song is so fitting! And the scenes are so well chosen... the whole video is so fascinating! And the end with that voiceover is really powerful! Excellent work! 😍 I'm looking forward to any shadowhunters video you'll make! 😁
I felt so bad for Jonathan honestly. Father injected him with the DNA of the mother of all demons, taught him by beating him and teaching him love is weakness, then tossed him into hell for killing another kid. Then the poor guy gets his skin burned off his entire body by Lilith. And Lilith raises him in yet another abusive and toxic environment, and she seemed to have no qualms with incestuous sentiments. And yet despite having two shit parents who raised him, and a bio mom who abandoned him, he still wanted so badly to try and figure out what being good was and how to BE good the moment he met Clary. I feel like it was lazy writing to make it so that Jonathan was "too far gone to save" and had to be destroyed. ESPECIALLY seeing as how other beings w/demon blood were able to overcome their demon side with love and support. If you think about it, it doesn't make sense that Jonathan's storyline HAD TO end in his destruction. I think there's many other routes that would have fit better. Clary could have injected Jonathan with the cure and rehabilitated him, teaching him things he didn't understand like boundaries, appropriate familial affection, how actions affect others etc. Instead we have Clary, a character with MAJOR abandonment issues killing off the last living relative she has left, a relative who loves her fiercely and would do anything to be loved back. How does THAT make sense? Especially with her knowing he is the way he is because of their POS father injecting him as a defenseless baby in utero and then send him to literal hell to grow up surrounded by demons. Like yeah, the guy would need some major assistance and support to get to a normal baseline. But I don't understand how how Luke and Raphael got to take the cure, but not Jonathan. Oh he killed people and did evil shit, right? Yeah, so did Jace under Lilith's influence. It doesn't make sense that the same efforts to pull Jace out of the influence of evil wasn't made for Jonathan. Jonathan showed that he had the ability to love and care, at least about Clary, and even with Valentine up until he DIED after being manipulated by Valentine due to his desire for SOMEONE to actually love him or treat him like he was worthy. Jonathan could have been saved. The storyline would have made far more sense if had. Jonathan had God-like powers. The fae queen even said something to the effect of "There's nothing more beautiful than watching the birth of a God." So, fast forward to the scene where Clary creates a rune giving herself wings that she wrapped around Jonathan that quite literally drained (A GOD?) of his life force. So to me that would mean Clary runed herself as a more powerful God than Jonathan in order to kill him, right? So then someone explain to me how it was remotely possible for the spiteful petty angel Raziel to strip Clary, AN ALL POWERFUL GOD, of her runes, abilities AND memories. GODS trump angels, right? So the angels shouldn't have been able to screw with Clary AT ALL after she drew that God rune on her palm. Like I said, the storyline made sense up until Clary and Jonathan. Perhaps that is why I keep seeing so many comments about the show being trash. I never read the books, and as I understand it the writers of the show changed the storyline. I don't know how the original storyline actually went, but I do know where the writers for this show screwed up. 🤷♀️
I very much agree with you on all these points. I'm thinking of maybe writing my own version, in which Clary is able to rehabilitate Jonathan, to show him the way. I would love that.

Jonathan just need more love
As a kid, yes, but you can't love someone to goodness.
You are correct...💜💜
“just” girl he was into incest it’s not a matter of love
@@harleyquinnismommy6679 Ok, when I write this I mean healthy love, therapy and purification and obviously regret and wanting to start over.
I don't know why I like Jonathan too much😍😍
It wasn't really his fault, their father is what made him like that not lilith's blood. Monsters r made not born
honestly they were great even if dark duo
