If you had driven about 1/2 mile further through town you would have come to the historic Nez Perce/U.S. Army Battle site. I asked a fellow who ran a store in town how to get there. He said there were interpretive signs at the site last time his was out that way. BUT he had not been out that side of town IN YEARS! Thanks for the video :)
Thank you for this. I spent two years in the Air Force in Idaho and we took a drive up into the hills one weekend for the heck of it. I have have pics taken with my 110 camera of Whitebird. I'll never forget that beautiful image. One day I'll go back again. Just for the heck of it.
