My Visit To The 2022 Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta

The 2022 Motul Petit Le Mans was held Saturday October 1st at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta about an hour northeast of Atlanta, Georgia. The Petit Le Mans is a 10 hour sports car endurance race run under the same rules established for the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a few exceptions.
Teams of two or three drivers per car compete for class victories in different categories like Daytona Prototype International or DPI, Le Mans Prototype or LMP and Grand Touring or GT.
This was my first trip to Road Atlanta and the Petit Le Mans and I have to say this track was one of the most beautiful tracks I’ve ever seen. It winds through stunning, wooded foothills of North Georgia. It’s 2 and a half miles with 12 turns.
