Imagine having a lawyer who doesn't want to be there...
So has no incentive to get her client free...he might need to make some calls
$60,000 a year is still not enough. They are going to bankrupt some of these lawyers.

How are you signing contracts without knowing the terms, most importantly, how much you're getting paid ? 🤷🏾♂️
Jury selection was supposed to take 6-weeks and that was considered a long time. Jury selection took over a year. So yes, the judge should release her.
They WANT these court appointed lawyers to be stressed out like this. And rush through the case so they pressure the dedendents to plea out. Its part if the fuxked up game our justice system plays with the civilians
They signed a contract and now because they actually have to do some work they don’t want to live up to the terms of the contract. It was easy money before because they didn’t do much they just collected a check. The judge is worried that if this case isn’t carefully handled, it’ll end up in a retrial and cost another million dollars.
The problem is this case has grown to so many defendants, unknown at the beginning, it has become a time suck that is unsustainable for this attorney. The attorney has to pay staff from the agreed fee, this is not an attorney from the public defenders office, the lawyer(not the public) pays the support staff. The circumstances of this case have significantly changed, if the hours involved prevent the lawyer from taking on other clients the lawyer is then paying to work. It’s not right to work for a loss.

So what you’re saying is this attorney should have contacted an attorney that understands contract law and what the agreements say and mean . I’m not surprised, this is what district attorneys and prosecutors sign up for and believe me they don’t like it. My presumption is that someone has been charged with a crime and the people who have brought the charges have no idea what the width and the breath of those charges. The attorney that signed the agreement thought that she could make money probably by having her staff handle most of the things that have to be done for the $5000 per month. Now they have to actually do something.
If this was your son, would you want to force an attorney to represent him who doesn't want to be there and has made it known several times? She has no incentive to do a good job. @@yt650
What did he pop in his mouth
Why in the world are taxpayers paying for this "celebrities" attorney?
