Nickel Over is probably my most called formation in the game, and one of my favorites. A lot of people swear by Nickel 3-3 or cub, but idk... I've always had good success with Over. I don't run dollar nearly as much as a lot of people are doing. Cover 6 is probably one of my most used coverages as well, with some adjustments.
Agreed. Cub Died with the first patch, Regular 3-3 is good (If ran like Dubby) But Nickel Over is very underrated. Its a better Big Nickel Over G to me. I think the best defense for regs is 1- Dollar 2- Dime Normal 3-Nickel Over

I use alot of cover 6 also but mostly mixed with quarters or palms. I like to run the cover 2 side where the trips at or the "gadget" player is at since they're more likely to get bubble screens and peek slants on rpos, slant my dline away from the hb and user my lb spy the qb while covering mid field. Usually the TE will be on the quarters side and you get the benefit of your safety being in the run fit on strongside runs. It's my short yardage go to play vs rpo users

Its pretty inconsistent, I mainly use this for run defense and to stop RPOs and I use my Dollar defense on passing downs and situations@@thorstenj.5306

Unfortunately , that option isn’t on the old gen of Madden, BUT if you call a Matching play like C4 C6 C9 it will match as long as you do not shade the coverage
Only time I've seen that is very Trips Sets, I use a different defense (Nickel 33) versus Trips, OR you can do this, just don't show blitz, just manually pull down the safeties if you have time. I prefer this defense mainly against stopping the run and very Bunch/Tight
Depends on what my opponent is doing tbh. Sometimes no drops because it'll cancel the match coverage. Sometimes I make a mable from 30 flats and 5 curls. Really depends on what im trying to take away
Versus Trips like Trips TE I like to play Man with an Inside Quarter on the Safety guarding the inside Slot and a Curl Flat from the Nickel. I'll make a trips defense video.
I haven't really unless my opponent dials up a match bomb at the right time. I also don't show blitz on down I know they must pass, especially if its 3rd or 4th and long
