Prom dress trends in 2024

It's January, but high schoolers are already shopping for the perfect prom dress. Designer Nathalie Loma says the trending color this year is blush. These are some of the top looks.

Very happy I was never picky when it came to dresses. As a big girl, I was just happy to find ones that fit!
My first prom dress was a discounted bridesmaid dress from JC penny (97) a maroon/crimson color. I loved it because I had a bunch of glitter nail polish in the same color. Not only did I use that polish for my nails, but to transform my plain black flats into the glitter color thah matched my dress and I did the same for our flowers. I love crafting but get overwhelmed with bigger things like sewing and alterations - I would rather just add some flare to something already done 😂. Spent $15 on the dress & $30 on my jewelry.
My senior prom, someone gave me a dress they had made and it was just a sleeveless black sequence dress - very easy to add flare to it and had pockets which was rare with formal dresses in 98 😂.
First wedding dress was $150 from an outlet store - my MIL to be did alterations so we added flare. Bridesmaid dresses were simple and $5 from the same store.
2nd wedding dress was just a pretty off white spring dress I found at Ross for $30.
For me it’s about how it fits - I enjoy adding my own touches too it though!
