This was a really interesting look at the behind the scenes mechanics of filming a story. I'm 70 years old and I truly enjoy your stopmotions. I hope you keep up the good work.
Your sets and costumes just blow me away! Reminded me a bit of the part in Anne of Green Gables where Matthew had to help Anne get the doctor at Christmastime for Dianna’s sister. Nicely done.
It was so interesting to see your progress with this film. The sets all looked so realistic. It was cool to see how much effort goes into that illusion of space! (I can’t get over that hallway set…) How did you film on the ice without worrying about it cracking?
Thank you so much!!! It was really quite thick and there was a lot of snow on it because it was later in the year. That meant I had to shovel quite a bit to get to the ice itself and because it was later in the year we knew that it would be frozen enough that we wouldn’t fall through.
loved this!

Thank you so much! That’s a fun connection, maybe without meaning too, I took inspiration from that!
The hallway set came together nicely. Loved seeing the behind the scenes for that especially. This series is so good! Can’t wait for season 3!
Thank you! I’m glad you’re excited!

That’s good that the ice was safe enough to film on! I understand your struggle with the snow though.
