If I pretend for a second that I’m not a blazers fan… Anfernee in Orlando sounds SUPER fun
Spurs would be better
@@marcconner9215naw
But what sounds like SUPER SUPER fun is doing what it takes to get Markkanen without having to give up 7, at which somehow, Clingan falls into our hands. 😳 I said fun, not realistic. ✌️
During the Blazer's '76-'77 championship run (which I watched and listened to as a 13-14 y/o,) the starters, Bill Walton was only 24, Maurice Lucas was 25, Johnny Davis (R) was 21, Bob Gross was 23 and Lionel Hollins was 23. They were all younger than their reserves. That season was their first showing in the playoffs. Imagine Brogdon, Grant, Thybulle and Simons being traded for picks, young players and cap relief, then winning the championship in '26-'27; they would still be older than the '76-'77 team.
But, and this is a big BUT, and I watched the entire 76-77 post-season as well, that Blazer team had players who served apprenticeships with other good players and coaches before coming to the NBA. I blanche at the idea of paying a cable bill to watch the Blazers 'develop' players who had neither of those opportunities--or didn't take advantage of them.
Ngl I don’t wanna trade ant until I see major improvement from scoot
We need to trade Ant before his contract is up. He’s going to walk for nothing because he wants to win and the blazers aren’t even close to winning.
Scoot has already been in the gym for the last 3 weeks.....
He's going to be extraordinary
@@KernalPancakesyou realize every nba play besides maybe Ben Simmons is in the gym everyday right?
that makes great sense bro!!!
@@KernalPancakeswe don’t know that
Magic fan here... i cannot accept NOT trading for Simons this off season! Lol. Just makes too much sense! Shiettt noone is off the table on our end besides Paolo, Franz and Suggs lol. Hopefully it happens
ANF to SAS swap 4&7 plus a future from Atlanta Graham or better yet Keldon Johnson
Brogdon,#7 & Murray for Brooks and # 3
Jerami to Houston for Jabari, the third pick, and a future pick would be 🔥
Thats extremely unrealistic..even we get jabari for grant no pick Portland will make the trade of the decade
Lmao zero chance in hell that would EVER happen. Thats such a lopsided god awful trade for Houston 😂😂😂
If Minnesota gets Malcolm they’d be a scary team. That’s exactly what they need.
What about Jeremy Grant to Atlanta. Send Grant plus our 7th (maybe our 14th). We would get their first pick plus Clint Cappela’s expiring contract.
Pistons just fired Monty Williams.
Really hope we pick him up even as an assistant. Don't think he needs that HC money with two other teams still paying his old contacts 🤣
Remember when Eric said he wouldn’t trade Simons for the 1st pick in the Paolo and Chet draft😂🤣💀
Cronin is so bad at his job. He brought in Banton last deadline... and NOTHING else. Has had 3 years to get under tax and can't evaluate talent. He fell into Sharpe and Scoot. No master plan. Wants to retool instead of rebuild. If AT LEAST 2 of either Grant, Thybulle, Brogdan, Williams III arent moved this year then idk what to think.
Although we could make the trades. PG13 caliber players would not be happy here... keep the roster as is. Trade Malcolm, get some picks or more athletic bigs. Ayton needs help.
Is It ONLY Blazers "fans" who are sooo stupid, they WANT to trade away their Stars,. on Great contracts,... for LESS Players,, who will eventually cost u More!!! ? :
ANT & Grant are on LOW Deals,. for what equal level players are making now $40 - $50+ a year!
Build around ANT, Shae, & the core & unload Brog,. williams, & the dudes who never 'fit' in the 1st place! ;
Ant and Grant are stars?
@@BlazersUprise If u dont believe that ANT is a Star in this league (potential) to lead this team,.. then change your Name & Stop podcasting as a Blazer... ;
Grant ALREADY proved he can be the #1 & or #2 guy on a team!!!
trade williams,.. trade brog,.. even tisse,..
shit, trade scoot if there's any value there yet,..
but for "fans" or writers to even MENTION trading Anfernee or Grant shows the lack of common sense & idiocy of R social media frenzy age of life... ;
its all about 'clicks" & creating an Ignorant hypothetical convo... instead of what are ACTUAL Good Choices to build this team into a Winner ASAP!!!
which will take a balance of the Vets & Rising youth,. all taking a Step UP & staying healthy! ;
Grant absolutely cannot be the #1 option on anything more than a bad team.
@@BlazersUprise Grant will end up in Dallas, portaln will get Tim hardaway Jr and josh green and a lump of coal. He will be coming off the bench and shooting 3's
Houston: Jerami Grant
Orlando: Anfernee Simons
Portland: Jabari Smith, Jett Howard, 2025 Orlando R1 (via Denver), 2026 Orlando R1.
we’d love that but no way houston let’s go of jabari

Blazers finally commit to young core.
Trading away talented veterans so the younger players can get minutes on the court. This team will never contend as is, a imminent blow up is obvious. Compensated with promising young players and a slew of picks.
Rockets hand the keys over to Darius Garland.
Rockets acquire a young and talented point guard to be a corner stone of a rebuild. They currently have the #3 pick in the draft and this trade nets them #7 as well. They could keep the picks and go all in on a youth movement or they could look to double dip and flip some new assets for Mikal Bridges after this trade is finished.
Cleveland onboards new talent.
Obviously the pair of Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland didn’t workout. Cleveland gets deeper by landing two legitimate NBA caliber starters in Grant and Brogdon. This team desperately needs wing play and Jeremi Grant can provide that. Landing Malcom Brogdon allows Donovan Mitchell to play off ball and conserve energy and not run himself ragged trying to do everything. Both players shoot the deep ball well and stretch the floor. With the 47th pick they can scoop up Bronny James and potentially get both James Sr and Jr in a return to Cleveland.
Orlando gets a brand new talented backcourt.
Orlando is building something great. The two way play is exciting to watch. Fred VanVleet is a underrated defender and very skilled point guard with veteran experience that this team needs and Anfernee Simons is the offensive firepower answer.
Start FVV and Suggs for defense and bring Simons off the bench for offensive spark plug role.

Can we trade our coach?
1:54 My fellas lookin like they gettin ready to home invade somebody. 😆✌
Cronin looks like the bad guy in Iron Man
I think he looks like a hobo if you take him out of the suit
Best destination for Anf is Portland actually
I like Wendell Carter Jr on the Magic plus a pick (or Moritz Wagner) for Simons. He's a very good rebounder, defender, can shoot, efficient scorer, still only 25. Start him next to Ayton and our rebounding problems are solved.
We need trade a first round for Klay Thompson and there pick
Grant to Dallas would be a perfect fit
Simons to Detroit plz
1:09 Sheesh, says alot about the owners focus. Save money whether we're building a contender or not..save money regardless. WTH Jody?
Just sell the team already. As usual great video bro.🤟🏽
i think the destinations mentioned sounded like good places for each of the blazers players, but i didnt get a good feel for what we'd get in return from this post
It wouldn’t surprise me if at least one of Jerami Grant, Malcolm Brogdon, or Anfernee Simons are traded during the first round of the draft. It also wouldn’t surprise me if either/or Matisse Thybulle and Robert Williams are traded on day two.
My "money" is on either Malcolm Brogdon, or Anfernee Simons but not both being traded. Obviously, itn will depend on interest and trade value, but also rather or not Shaedon Sharpe can not only fill in as a small forward but be The Small Forward with Scoot Henderson at poit-guard and Ant at shooting-guard. If so I think it will be Brogdon on the move. If not Simons will be on the move with Brogdon being the "6th-man" guard. The Blazers can send Simons to the Magic for their 2025 first. The Magic have the Nuggets top-5 protected first in 2025. My opin ion is that Simons is good enough of a player that Portland should get the better of the two picks if that kind of trade is possible. Brogdion can be traded to the 76ers for their 2026 first. There is no need to take back anyone in either case.
If the Heat had anyone or any picks that would be useful for the Trail Blazers Dame would be a Heat and not a buck. I think flipping Grant for Harrison Barnes works. Could they send one or both second round picks for the King's 13th pick and package 13 & 14 to move up?
I wouldn’t trade 7 for 3 in this draft. I would send 14 and one of (The rockets choice) Jerami Grant, Malcolm Brogdon, or Anfernee Simons for 3 and a package of players to make the trade work. Obviously Portland would take whoever slips between Zaccharie Risacher, Alex Sarr or Donovan Clingan. I believe if you are moving up to take either Sarr or Clingan it should be becoming you believe you can pair them with Deandre Ayton in a twin-towers lineup and not as his replacement.
Yeah but my 3 year old nephew can guard a half sleeve of Oreos better than he can guard the basket. 😊 It doesn't matter what we do, until we address the defensive, lack of size and injury issues we have every year. We need a couple guys that assure Scoot and Shaeden get open shots so they can control the tempo and relax little bit.
Let’s be real, Cronin won’t trade any of those guys. And if he does, we’ll get back a Euroleague player and a 2nd round pick
How about Grant to OKC ?
Let’s go just the title I wanted to see
Anfernee to the pels

Hi Torey
I actually don’t want Cronin to make any trades. Based on his track record, I’m terrified of what he’ll do
Dumb
@@GrimmGardenano you are if you think Cronin is good. We are in the luxury tax on a tanking team. Cronin is horrible.
@@1fastmex dumb
@@1fastmex blame Dame for that
@bruceben87 it's dames fault Cronin traded cj and Larry Nance Jr for a pick that ended up being Kris Murray
As long as it doesn't mean a terrible package, i'd love to see Simons end up in Orlando. If Simons really is the missing piece that those willing this rumor into existence tout him as being, Orlando may just be the next dynasty team as long as they don't do anything stupid (their involvement would certainly make the finals more enjoyable than right now with Bawston and Dallass).
Cronin loves his team. He wants them to get after it. Losing all those games doesn't bother the GM or the owner. NO DEALS. Maybe trade a 2nd rounder for a future pick, that's about it.
Man Simon’s on the magic would be nice 🪄
