I once saw a 500,000 pound excavator near where I live. They used it to dig a giant lake for a housing development across from us. They brought it in pieces. I was blown away when a semi showed up one day with a giant bucket for the thing. It came over and picked it by attaching to it and crawled its way into the construction site. Later on weekends I walk enter the construction site and look at the machine. The hydraulic shafts on the bottom were as thick as my torso, and you could just about fit a whole car in the bucket.

Why do the "not" have a thumb on the bucket to help with moving the rocks?
I know they wouldn't be able to pick them up but it would assist in moving them around....🤷🏾
